Once I've (laboriously) sorted out rider photos and made the db, you can see the stats. You are right to expect great things of Cliff, I do too. Can't look past Øle Høle though... the wonders of pcm name generation |

What do you mean a strange squad Ian? These are the cream of 6 years of cyanide generated young riders!

Guys, we came across this:
On a scale of a safe/likely prediction to a risky/stupid/interesting one:
MAJOR hat eating possibilities
Stupidly Sensible
Laughably Likely
Worryingly Accurate
Probably probable
Possibly possible
Beautifully Bizarre
Insanely Unlikely
Profoundly Proposterous
Impossible: I was De-Chaired Laughing
I was thinking it might be worth putting up sponsor goals before races then getting people to rate them, anyone up for it? |

2nd January, Santé - Val d'Isere Presentation
We're delighted to have got as far as the preseason team presentation. The boys are all champing at the bit and pawing at the ground with their metal clad feet.

There's a significant amount of potential in the squad, with Cliff Van Schoomhooven, Øle Høle, and Manfred Sys being particularly promising prospects

2nd January, Santé - Val d'Isere Presentation
The team has a balanced focus, although we are looking to provide a strong showing in the hilly and cobbled classics. We also have options however, in sprint finishes and when the road starts to rise.

2nd January, Santé - Val d'Isere Presentation
By having a squad of young riders from across the world, we believe that the team are talented enough to provide good results whilst providing spectators with some attacking and entertaining racing. The team one day hopes to draw on a wide fan base spreading across every continent, even Derby, and yes, Crewe.

2nd January, Santé - Val d'Isère Presentation
This concludes the presentation of the riders for the 2013 season with Santé - Val D'Isère. The season ahead promises to be packed full of exciting racing and interesting personalities, and we look forward to seeing you every (assymetric) pedal stroke of the way.
That's right, when Øle Høle maintains position in the pack, he only uses his left leg.

@SP_News: "The boys are all champing at the bit and pawing at the ground with their metal clad feet." All except for Koby Powers, who is champing at the T*t and P*rning at the ground!

I have to say I have absolutely no idea what's going on here but it's certainly funny at the very least. Let's hope Agrican the Raspberry can deliver when required!
Good Luck? |

A story based on being funny brewer? That would be awfullly hard to keep up And sure they got talent, but they need to have charisma! (Agrican TheRaspberry definitely has something)
I'm not really sure how we're going to present races yet, or indeed how serious we're going to be about it. Might try a few things out and then see what works!
So... should my troupe pursue sponsorship from Cirque du Soleil? |

9th January
Far away from the wonders of the team training camp, (which I will tell you about later) I have trekked with Koby Powers out to Australia. We've been doing some charity work in what is a horribly deprived country, rehabilitating people with the famous greco-roman wrestling kangaroos of Buninyong (which have been known to claim many of my riders on the final lap of the course).
Koby is raring to go. He's been out for a lap of the course and knows it pretty well now. We think we might have a chance if a break goes on the first lap, otherwise, we're spectators.
Regards,
Vernie Kunze |

10th January, Australian Championships
Koby Powers and Baden Cooke
The breakaway went out, and it never came back. At 100km to go we had 10min, at 40km to go we still had 10min, and there was a 10min gap back to Cadel Evans at the finish line.
Koby did well to make it into the 11 man group, and once they had established a lead our prospects looked good. We rolled through and off with the rest of the group until 5km to go, when, at the foot of the final climb, Koby exploded, gaining a minute on his rivals. He worked like a saint until the final kilometre, where his attack was rivalled by an equally impressive implosion. at 800m to go, Koby was passed by the eventual winner, Baden Cooke, and the rest of the breakaway followed.
Well done Koby, a top10 is pretty good going.
