I think the KAtusha boys will have a fairly limited effect upon proceedings, though Rabobank have some good SR's and are one of the teams in my GC favourites spots
Not to mention Rick Zabel, who could grab a few stages along the way!

My bet for yellow is on Dombrowski

First of all, I'd like to take a moment to welcome you all to the opening stage of the Underdog Tour! We're here in Liége for a short 6km prologue, it'll give us our very first Maillot Jaune wearer, and create some instant gaps in the peloton.
The UK are excited about this stage, they've got a few options for an attempt on the lead, most likely is probably Wouter Sybrandy of IG Sigma Sport. Other potential winners today include the Frenchmen Jarrier, the Austrian Andres Hofer and of course, everybodies favourite Swede, Magnus Beckstedt...
Itera-Katusha have the privelege of starting proceedings here, The first rider down the ramp is Anton Vorobyev. He outs in a reasonable time to start things off, riding home in 8'10". 1'07 slower than the Prologue winner of the TdF, Fabian Cancellara.
The Third man off the ramp today, is the British favourite, Wouter Sybrandy. He duly comes home in the new leaders time, 6" quicker than Vorobyev. All he can do now, is watch as his opponents come in, trying to match or better this time.
These prologues aren't just about the stage win of course, the GC favourites are all looking to do as well as possible. Vrecer is the first man down the ramp, It's not a great time however, he loses 16".
Next of the favourites is the Italian Zanasca. It's an even worse time by the Italian, 20 seconds down on Sybrandy, and 5" behind Vrecer at this point.
The GC men just keep on coming at the moment, its the Cuban Romero off the ramp next, he's got no love on of the TT bike, so matching Vrecer is something he'll be pleased with, 16" down once again.
Andreas Hofer has been talking about this stage as his big opportunity, he gave it his all, but couldn't quite pip Sybrandy, he finishes just 1" slower, it's looking good for the Brit at the moment, that time is hard to beat.
Adam Phelan is onne of the guys aiming to be at least top20 this year, he puts in a decent effort, 9" down on Sybrandy's time, not a bad performance by the best Australian hope here.
Lawson Craddock finds himslef in the odd position of being both a doméstique and a favourite! He clearly wants to lead himself, and comes in flying just 2" behind leader Sybrandy, that puts him highest of the GC contenders so far, and by a decent margin!
Following Craddock is the Colmbian climber Grajales. He'll need a base to work from in the mountains, and has managed to pull some magic out of the bag, just 9" behind Sybrandy, actually beating several of his GC opponents!
Benoit Jarrier is Frances best hope for a day 1 Maillot Jaune. He can't match the speed however and fades a bit in the last kilometre to finish 3" behind the best time, still held by Brit Wouter Sybrandy.
The Rabobank CT contender Marc Goos is the next man to finish, he'll not be best pleased with that ride, 16" behind the leader, and losing 14" to contender Craddock.
More interested in the hilly stages where he'll be hunting stages, Huub Duyn manages to ride a solid prologue, as the 5th last to set off. Sybrandy is still standing though, can he take the Maillot Jaune with the 3rd ride of the day?!
Before the last of the Prologue contenders set off, we saw the man who many have dubbed the overall favourite, Joe Dombrowski! that's a great time by him, only 3" behind the next contender, and his team mate, Lawson Craddock!
And the last man of the day sets off, Dirk Muller, he starts quite slowly but just keeps speeding up, and as he crosses the line, you can hear the british groan, Sybrandy has been knocked off the top spot, by just a single second! Great ride by Muller to take the Maillot Jaune, concluding day one of the Underdog Tour!
Well, day 1 complete, we have our first jersey wearers! See you soon for more action as the riders head out of Liége for a 195km ride across Belgium before we have a hilly sprint in Seraing!

Sybrandy must have a bad feeling, only the last man was faster than him.
