I have no idea if you're joking, so:
when I say "name one", it's a figure of speech. it means "there are few or none"

I won't even name the others. I'll stop at this:
Owen Hargreaves chose England as a national team. he was also eligible for:
Scotland
Northern Ireland
Wales
Germany
Canada
culturally diverse fellow, isn't he?

after careful research, I'll refrain from writing a list of others as it's just too long. just think of every black player playing for england plus a few white ones

England could do with a new manager, but Danish football sucks even more than our national team does at the moment if Rommedahl is player of the year

Hargreaves' biggest strength (apart from his mentality) comes from his physical attributes which are probably the main reason he's playing for a club like United now and is a regular in English NT setup.
But most people don't notice his 'physical' attributes and how impressive they are as much yet it seems because his stamina and speed (both with and without ball) which are VERY impressive and one of his strongest points are under-rated.
Simlarly his mentality and determination which again are some of his biggest strengths and is what has made him such a great midfielder are very underrated.
it's not so much his distribution skills, which are average, nor his defensive skills, which are decidedly "meh". it's the overall package which is balanced. he's a real two-way player.
however, since he depends so much on physical attributes, he has a much bigger decrease in quality of play when he's off-form

I don't get the thing with Rommedahl. I watched the Award show last night, and I was completely shocked -- Rommedahl? Best player of the year? He's not even in top 10 I wonder how Daniel Agger managed NOT to win this one? |

In term of tehnique he's good when he needs to take a fast action that a bonus for his team he can make fast attacks with his pass from the back he runs a lot that's true
