There are generic auto-colour frames - the PCM daily db comes with quite a few. Teams that don't choose equipment will get assigned one of these and the game will auto-colour it automatically.

If i upload a frame from Colnago, and helmets from Giro, will they automatically be recolored, or are the recolor frames special?
I got my custom TT helmets ready, but don't know which general equipment i have to upload beside it.

I have a similar (the same?) question as Kami.
If I grab the files from the PCM daily database for Easton wheels, or Willier frames and rename them to frame_magna.whatever then will they be their default coloring or will they be coloured gray like my chosen teamcolour?

About the auto-coloured equipment: the only file that matters is the _s file. Here's an example of an auto-coloured file (left) and a file without (right):
The game identifies which parts have no transparancy (white parts in the small grey square next to "Deckkraft" and colours them with the colour code of the team. No frame will become autocoloured by renaming the files and no autocoloured frame will loose that feature.
If you want to know if a frame (or anything else) has autocolouring, check it ingame or by opening the _s file.

Just wondering, if a team wants standard equipment from a certain brand, wouldn't it be more efficient of just saying the equipment you want from the DB, instead of every team uploading theirs separately? It should save time, and make the final packages for the reporters to download smaller.
