I think his hill stat is 59, not too sure but it aint great. He almost got dropped by the break on the 2nd KoM in Stage 1.
Oh, well then it's not going to be Jonas Aaen's race
But I just discovered I've brought Hagen here aswell, so maybe I'm not chanceless after all

top 20 for Frish. Not bad. He gets the most aggressive rider jersey I think. 3 breaks in 5 races.

finally, my guys started joining breaks , dissapointing that sprint wasnt really a sprint, or Van Stayen would have had a good chance.

Rankings
7 riders from the Top 10 raced in Dunkerque but only Nico Mattan scored anything (Although Casper did get 9th in Stage 2), which helped him move from equal 10th to 9th. Mattan is the highest ranked rider who has yet to win anything. Another cobbled specialist, Leif Hoste, also did well and moved up to 11th. After the TdU, Rovny slipped from 1st to 24th having scored nothing, but he is now back up to 16th after 5th overall. Paride Grillo moves into the top 20, while victory gave Meersman his first points of the season and he is now 22nd. 261 riders have now scored at least 1 point.

Teams
Agritubel pass the 800 mark and are back in the 2nd promotion spot, 6 points ahead of Designa Kokken. But Panaria are closing in and could soon make the 2nd spot a 3 horse race, just 67 points behind Agritubel. And with Pozzovivo the big favourite for Colombia you cannot rule out Panaria. A poor showing by Landbouwkredit allowed HealthNet to pass them for 6th and Wiesenhof were also on the move, taking 8th from DFL. Further down the field, SouthAustralia.com look as if they may not actually finish last of the teams participating all season, and are just 12 points behind Benfica. Relax-Gam meanwhile, are well on their way to overtaking PCMdailyJobs.com.

I've had three men in the top 10 aswell, so haha DFL
And Rovny was pretty close at pulling another 'rovny' on the entire pack, but very good Tour after all for me inspite of the unfortune of Hagen.
1 stage win
2 days in the leader's jersey
2nd place on stage 4
3rd on stage 5
5th and 18th in the final GC
I think that makes for my best tour since Down Under and California. B)
And btw, who won the young riders' classement?

I seriously cant believe it...I have been busy at Uni recently so haven't been checking the results - boom - it all clicks for Southaustralia.com! Maybe I should ignore it more often...
I'm not sure how the rest of the season will pan out, but who knows what might happen now? Might not even finish last... |
