Well, in real life my favorite rider's skills are humor and personality. In PCM, it's all about having an unique rider who will win a lot of races for me 
Therefore, in real life, David Zabriskie is my favorite. He's extremely funny (one of the best humours I have ever experienced), and he's a great cyclist, too. As already mentioned, the same counts for Jens Voigt - but it's in another way. Zabriskie is weird, Voigt is more, well, German
In PCM, I like riders such as Thomas Dekker (when developed). He can win everything if trained right
For me its same in real as in game, but ... PCM is "just" a game |

I generally like CSC, but Jens Voigt is of course one of the favourite riders. Mostly because he's a great fighter and then he's funny. (And i really loved the extra material in Overcoming)
Outside CSC it's Cunego. |

My favourite team was T-Mobile until they lost Kessler, Zabel, Kløden, Ullrich and Vinokourov + the big doping scandale so now my favourie team are Saunier Duval
