Australian Time Trail Championship
Here we are at this year national TT championship in Australia. The favorites are Evans, McGee and our own Rogers. Lets see what happens, the course is 38km long and quite hilly.
Rogers at the first time check, he has started early so should be in the lead....but he missed it by a few seconds.
2nd time check and he is even more behind, 16 seconds this time and not looking like a win.
At the finish line and at the moment he is 7 seconds to late, we are still quite happy. He isn't at all in any good form. But who is the winner?
McGee takes the lead!.......Evans isn't even top 3 at the finish. O'Niell was at the same time as McGee on the two first checks, where is he at the finish.
Yes, he is the new national champion!

4th isn't bad in the Aussie TT champs, i find O'Neill and Jamieson always beat Rogers in my careers anyway

Australian Road Race Championship
Time for the road race to get started, the favorites are the same as in the TT, but watch out for Davis and O'Grady. They have a nice sprint!
The first break of 4 riders doesn't seem like that much of a threat...
Soon they are joined by 7 more and T-Mobile decides that it's to dangerous and brings them back.
The peleton together lead by T-Mobile as you can see here, but later there are several attacks.....
and with 4km left it's O'Grady solo in the lead chased by Evans and McGee....Rogers didn't have the strength and is now leading the peleton in the chase.
O'Grady takes a very nice win and also the australian road race jersey...you can see Evans and McGee in the background
Rogers gets away from the peleton and claims 7th

Tour of Qatar
Stage 4
The 4th stage will also end up in a bunch sprint. The Milram team has been really good catching the breakaways just in time in this race. Lets see if Sacchi can take his rd win, he has a good position.
No it's the surprise Kopp who takes it, Freire is 2nd and the leader Sacchi is 3rd....Cavendish follows his 5th place with a 6th in this stage, at least some improvement.

Stage 5
Burghardt has been quiet all race, so I thought it was time he tried something. A late attack seems like the right choice
Or not, he was caught. Still 10km alone in the front is a good sign of his form.
The last stage and the 5th bunch sprint, 2 wins for Sacchi, 1 for Freire and 1 for Kopp. Who will take this last one?...certainly not Cavendish, way to far back, what is the manager thinking really.
It's a surprise, Sacchi is so close a 3rd win, but just misses out in 2nd...still he has a GC win to be happy about...the stage goes to Eeckhout!

Our first race of the season didn't give much to cheer about, but our time will come later. Next in February we have two of our leaders, Eisel and Burghardt going to Mallorca. Meanwhile the 3rd, Kirchen, is of to face the Mont Faron. |

thank you, finding the game quiet hard to adjust to
Vuelta a Mallorca
Leaders:
Eisel
Burghardt
Stage 1
Good day, here we are in Spain to prepare a bit more for the pro tour season. So far we haven't had any results to talk about, but we are hoping to improve them during this race despite the hard competition.
It's going to be a sprint today, we are looking forward to see if Eisel is in any good form at the moment. Boonen is the big favorite for the win here, but riders like Fischer could challenge as well.
Of course it's Boonen, who else?....he takes an easy win actually and the other teams will have something to think about for tomorrow. Including the T-Mobile team after Eisel's result even though it isn't that bad.

it seems you are never quite high up enough in the trains at the start of the sprint
6th isn't bad from Eisel's position though

you could have changed to the andalucia-train only for getting a better position in the sprint |

A bit better this time
Vuelta a Mallorca
Stage 2
Good day, here we are in Spain to prepare a bit more for the pro tour season. So far we haven't had any results to talk about, but we are hoping to improve them during this race despite the hard competition.
Time to sprint again here in Spain. Henderson has managed to get the wheel of favorite Tom Boonen, meanwhile Eisel has the wheel od Siedler. So can anyone challenge Tom?
No Tom wins, but Henderson surprises everyone by taking 2nd place right behind himB)

Nice job.

Great tactic, if you can't beat Boonen it's always best to just follow him in to the lineB)
