I challenge you to win a cobbled race with Armstrong. Tro-Bro Leon should be easy enough

So you would say Lance's ratings are somewhat realistic? I think the biggest error I made with him was making his REC and RES too high. Also perhaps his STA is high but probably not by much. The biggest thing age will do to a rider of his level is too lower the ability to recover and resist fatigue/injury. If he was a sprinter then he would fade there also but that is not a factor in this situation.
It could be argued that in general all of his numbers could be lower just from being away from cycling for a year but in this alternate reality he was still training (in secret) and is in top shape for the 2007 season after resting in 2006!

Yes, i think lances, even though it might make the game a tad boring, stats are nearly correct.
He does have great revovery, he only bonked in 1 stage in all off his stages at le tour, and he attacked Ullrich and Mayo so many times there heads went spinning.
His stanima was decent, maybe not 85 though, so i think u did pretty good

you guys do remember that he is now 36 and retired 2 years ago don't you?
this means he will not be that good now
but obviously i will read the story anyway, i just thought i'd mention that you guys are being a bit eccentric about what Lance's stats would be like if he raced now

he has kept in shape (prectable, since he's a fitness nut). he's been running marathons and all. although he and Jalabert are nowhere near Olano's marathon times, that are actually good enough for Olano to enter professional marathons (Olano's almost 40!!!)

Team Discovery is getting ready for their first race of the year. The plan is to work in some of the younger guys and see what they got. I will also be pushing Alan Davis as Team Leader since this is a sprint heavy event and he is the best sprinter the team has.
Also notice that Vino is still on Team Astana and the whole team in general has been reassembled. They should be a very tough team to beat this year.
Results up tomorrow!

It would seem the dope has muddled with Vino's head

Yes I found Vino's comment that he "had no interest in the Tour De France" quite entertaining. Maybe his race schedule demands say he won't race the TDF which is fine with me because he would be a tough guy to beat out.
I finished up the first race and will post results tonight. I will just say that the boys of Disco are off to a good start...more details to come! |

Considering the fact that the guy won the TdF 7 times, I'd say he's not as good as he used to be |
