and what is Lang going to be up to? or is his program going to be "let's take it as it comes?"

Wegmann will mostly assist the top 2, Schumacher/Rebellin, but he will have his chances as well to get some good results. Free roles in some of the less important races like San Sebastian, and also in the National Championship where he is our main bet for the road race ( Lang in the TT )

He will try to win the National TT and hopefully some prologues and TT's. Main goal is Tour de France prologue and the National championship. |

It would appear you left of the programme of your best rider, Thomas Fothen what are you aims for this super talent?
Also can you confirm that it's in his contract that you have to give a contract to his less talented brother?

Nice picture btw issoB)
GP di Lugano
Leaders:
Wegmann
Rebellin
Schumacher
Pre race info:
Here we are at last. The first race of the season, except sending a weak squad to Qatar. We expect a decent result here with our 3 best hilly riders since it's a hilly race, but they are only here to get some km's in their legs really. Rebellin and Wegmann preparing for Paris-Nice and Schumacher for Tirreno-Adriatico.
The idea is to save all riders to the final deciding climb and see what we can do there. One to watch out for is Ricco, my bet for the win if not Wegmann takes it. He has looked strong the last couple of weeks.
The race:
We kick off with a 6 man break with mostly weak riders, nothing to do anything against the good riders later on. Closing in on the final clib I get a report from our leaders. Rebellin is feeling good and the other two is having some small problems but still doing fine. I decide to let Rebellin attack and the other two wait for now, but before we can react something else happens.
Yep, Ricco has attacked and it's a big one. Vila, Rebellin and Calazati reacts to late to follow and are left way behind and ends up chasing with Ricco and the peleton on either side. Rebellin makes an effort to close the gap, but it has no effect what so ever.
Here the three man group is chasing during the downhill, but it's to no use really. Ricco is just to strong...
And he takes a nice big solo victory and really looks like he is in shape for the early part of the season. Behind Vila just edges out Rebellin for 2nd with Calazti claiming 4th.
The peleton arrives a while later in a sprint for place 5, Wegmann and Schumacher both ends in top 15, so a nice race for Gerolsteiner.

Indeed
Pro tour preview - March
Welcome to this preview for the first thrre races of this years pro tour, Paris-Nice ( P-N ), Tirreno-Adriatico ( T-A ) and Milano - Sanremo ( MSR ). First out is the Paris-Nice race that will see Wegmann och Rebellin trying both to achive a top 10 position, but Wegmann will have to take the role as helper if needed. Considering his good sprint we hope that he will have a shot at the sprinter jersey as well.
Starting during P-N 4th stage is Tirreno-Adriatico that will have Schumacher taking on the leader role. There the goal is to win a stage and get top 30 in the gc, but this is nowhere near Schumacher's peak form so we are not sure he will make that. Depends on the other riders form as well. Milano- Sanremo is the first of the momentum classics this year and considering our best sprinter is Förster ( no offence, but he won't survive the hills ) we have to aim for a breakaway with Rebellin or making the race really hard, so Wegmann can sprint for the win.
P-N Goal: 2 riders in top 15, 1 in top 5, top 3 points jersey.
T-A Goal: 1 rider in top 3, 1 stage win
MSR Goal: 1 rider in top 10
You can guess if we will achive this |

Paris-Nice Stage 1/8
Leaders:
Wegmann
Rebellin
Pre race info:
Top riders participating is Voigt, Cioni, Savoldelli among others.
The race:
Todays first stage is a TT prologue that could decide a lot of the race ahead. We have some small hopes for a win with Lang, but considering the other strong TT riders it will be hard.
The race starts and Wegmann makes an early good run for Gerolsteiner, later Sylvain Chavanel makes a decent leading time. He is in the lead for a while, but then Lang starts.
It's a new leader with 7 seconds!...much better then I expected
Cioni starts later and is just 2 sec behind at the time check, will he make it?
No, he is just a little bit to slow
The lead keeps and it almost looks like a win when...
Wiggins sets an amazing new time several seconds faster, will it be a british win?
Certainly looks like it, Voigt is a few seconds to late. Then Hincapie starts as last big threat, but he is way behind at the time check. Wiggins almost starts to celebrate...
Hincape does a 2nd half out of this world and takes the win

great start, unluvky for Wiggins
about the goals; i think they are all very acheivable, and you should be ably to get them
but 1 question, is you aim top 3 or top 30 in T-A, because you've put both
if it's top 30 then definatley, top3 may be difficult

Also, the v6 is out tomorrow, so are you continuing with this, despite the release or switching to the v6?
