@t-baum, as i said he is Italian and has a bonus
huh? the only bonuses I know about is that a guy who gets to ride one of the races listed as his favorites will get a slight morale bonus provided his morale isn't maxxed out.

Does acceleration works in countersprints and counterattacks?
Perhaps I'm wrong. |

Well in PCM06 there was a home-race bonus, where an Italian riding in an Italian race would recieve a bonus, and perform better and French in French races, etc.
i would guess that would be in PCM07 as well, but it's definatley in PCM06

that's very interesting. I had no idea. that explains why Cunego in PCM-Spain always hangs with the big boys on the Giro's mountain stages

So the follow up question...
Which training programs should be avoided because they focus too much on acceleration? |

I presume training as a sprinter involves training in acceleration.

They began implenting these kind of bonusses in PCM05 or CyM4 as far as I remember.
In fact, you can see all the bonusses in this folder: Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager 2007\GamePlay\Simu
Those are the files used for determing what should happen in simulated races, including what race bonusses that should be activated (for example "SameNation". |
