I once, with PCM05, managed to reach 2013 with T-Mobile, and I ruined it all by depressing everyone because I bought to many captains!
Then, just when the new PCM06 came out, I managed to get to 2012 with Lampre, but then my computer did something strange, and I had to reinstall everything I had. But I guess it was fine that way, as I in 2011 almost collapsed, due to some moneyproblems. I guess 2012 would've seen the end of Lampre as a powerful team! |

I mostly play with Quickstep (probably because I'm a belgian guy, just like Boonen), in the first season you can't win the Giro or 1 of the other tours. But in my 2nd and 3rd year I buy a lot of young talents and good climbers like cunego, gerdemann, ... I also buy more sprinters like Haussler (you can win tours of 6 days with him). Reus and Thomas Dekker are 2 guys I try to buy too because you can win a tour with them when you ride a good Time Trail. |

ok this thread has been dead for a long time, but i couldn't be bothered to start a new topic.
It is fairly common knowledge how long my longest ever career was and if you don't know, it isn't something to brag about
so i was wondering, what team should i start a career with, i would like it to be ProTour as i would like to actually ride a GT for the 1st time ever, plus i have only ever had 2 PT careers, so suggestions on your favourite teams for careers please

I´m in deep mourn now. i´d played with rabobank to june 2009, but then the saved game got some error, so I could perceive. My stars were:
andy schleck hill 78 (6 victories so far)
bernucci hill 80 (9 victories last year, so far 2, won milan-san remo this year for 2nd time in a row
thomas dakkor hill 81 time trial 84 mountain 82 (won the vuelta 2006, came 2nd 2007, won TDF 2008) the best rider i´ve ever had, didn´t manage to play the 2009 tdf.
jukka vastaranta sprint 78 (had 100 % on sprint, he couldn´t develope anymore)
jonathan bridge hill 79
got 1010 points in 2008 and had 47 victories |

You should check out some of the Databases PCM Daily has to offer. Then you get real names like Thomas Dekker as opposed to Dakkor

I'd suggest CSC, myself. Cancellara is... well, Cancellara. Good on the cobbles, good in the TTs, plus Sastre for the grand tours, the wonderful Jens Voigt, plus a cadre of good sprinters.
Or what I'd really suggest is starting with a CT team and moving up to the PT. I think CT races are way more fun than the brutal PT races.

My longest career? I think my record is 4 seasons (CyM4), and with PCM06 I played 3 seasons with Team CSC. I use a lot of time on actually playing the stages which is why I never get that far. |

I made to the end of 2007 with Rabobank but then I got fired so I took over Auber 93 and played all the way to 2012 and made it the best team in the world |

In PCM2006 I made to 2017 I think and I managed to win all the ProTour Classics + Paris-Nice, Tour de Pologne, Basque Tour and ENECO Tour with Matti Breschel. I think he had 150 victories as he retired.
Plus he also won the World Championships twice.

i always use CT teams and because of that, and my unbelievable lack of continuity during my careers, have never riden a GT, not in single mode or career
this is why i was asking, but i will probably play with a CT team again with the PCM Spain db
