Right, i didnt show you two what i had done so far because i dont really think i had done enough work on it to show it off. But today i did some things on the project today:
Since the provisional schedule seemed rather not large enough compared what PCMdaily's management game might get next season, im going to fill in some cyclocross races (at least when PCMbenelux gets their finger out) and some track events (but no madisons im afraid), by using two extra (but small) DB's with stats that changed according to the situation (more on that when i bother). A rider will be entered into one of these espoirs DB's if the player chooses too at a cost.
No, this wasnt a spontaneous act. I'd considered it for some time.
Kept looking at schedule, realized we needed at least north american event sooner or later. Made memo about looking into it.
Meddled with scoring system, again.
Pondered a bit about money.
So much for not having anything better to do i suppose

News from the great white space of useless: Thanks to Fefj we have a mostly complete schedule with all of the years 12 month's in and with Road and Track events represented. We are still missing CycloCross events due to PCM-Benelux's disappointing slowness of releasing their DB.
Next up: Making some beta-teams to practice rider creation, run a race with these. And then make a final decision on how to represent the rise and fall of stats.

After i got access to the dark recesses of the admin forum, ive glanced over the management games ideas and concepts. And i cant help think making a management game myself would somehow be leeching of the experiences gained from the management game. Im not fond of leeching.
That said, its still alive, albeit little progress has been made in 2008 so far. That said, if any big change is worth mentioning, its my dislike of the ProTour system and how its made me think that a game based on a modified World Cup system (along with the Trade Team system), would be more unique and just better.

I still don't get what the difference between this and the Man-Game is. |

Which, is coincidently, why this havent moved that fast.
But just to say something about what different, heres three things:
No real riders. Riders all created by players through still rubbish formula.
PCM07, not PCM06 (albeit not the smartest move)
Usage of both small track and cyclocross season with usage of three DB's covering road, track and cross.
