I'd ask Manx first. He might say its okay since you didn't know.

Hate to be a prick, but I honestly don't think not knowing the rules is an excuse for not following them after being corrected.
Manx obviously made the rule for a reason...

Turgot and Boivin sign with Motorex
Motorex - Credit Suisse Pro Cycling just signed two good riders, the first one is Sébastien Turgot. Turgot is a good Northern classics rider, one of France's best, actually. Fabian Cancellara says he is very happy to have such a good helper for the cobbled races. Also, he's from France, which is an important region for the Swiss team's sponsors.
The second rider Motorex signed is Guillaume Boivin. This young Canadian sprinter is one of the most promising riders around, and he will most likely develop into a star.

This is the shirt Fabian Cancellara will be wearing this season, we hope you like it.

Oh, I'm sorry Welwyn, but that's part of the game. Perhaps next season, we'll see

Filippo Pozzato signs with Motorex
Motorex - Credit Suisse Pro Cycling just signed Italian cobble specialist Filippo Pozzato. It seems like Motorex. will dominate the Northern classics this year; not only Pozzato, but of course also Cancellara and Turgot signed for them.

Michael Albasini signs with Motorex
Obviously to statisfy their sponsors, Motorex - Credit Suisse Pro Cycling Team signed their second Swiss rider; the puncheur Michael Albasini. He will be very useful as leader in the Ardennes, and is a good early attacker for in the mountain stages.

Damn Pozzato! You've stolen me a great italian rider. About Albasini isn't he a bit too old for 3 years of contract? |

Hell with the contract lengths!
Well, I don't really care about them. Albasini is from Switzerland, so even in 3 years, when he'll be a domestique probably, he still adds something to the team.

Matthieu Ladagnous signs with Motorex
It seems like Motorex - Credit Suisse Pro Cycling is really focussing on the cobbled classics this year; they just announced that they signed Matthieu Ladagnous. This French cobble-specialist will be another great addition to the team, and will surely help them win.

Viviani signs for Motorex
Young Italian sprinter Elia Viviani just signed for Motorex - Credit Suisse Pro Cycling. Viviani is not a top-class sprinter yet, but he signed a 2 year contract, so he will have time to develop.

@mvhoogdalem name one decent Swiss sprinter. And about a third of Switzerland has Italian as prominent language.
