Alessandro Ballan was born on 6 November 1979 in Castelfranco Veneto, he started cycling when he was eight; he turned professional in 2004 with Lampre. He is a northern classic rider,, he won Rond Van Vlaanderen and Vattenfall Cyclassics. He reached podium in other important race like Paris-Roubaix, and E3. Though he's best result is in 2008 when he won the world championship in Viareggio.
Another great sign for our team. We are proud to have an ex-World Champion. He is Italian too and he can still make some very good result with the team especially in cobble race. Stay tuned for the 3rd draft round.
@VincenzoNibali
Vincenzo here i come! So much happy to be in your team we'll surely make some great result. I missed Italy and that's a great chance to return and show what i can do!
@sutty: Let's hope so.

THIRD ROUND: WORLD TIME TRIAL CHAMPION
Tony Martin was born on 23 April 1985 in Cottbus (Germany). Martin is time trial specialist. In fact in 2011, he won a time trial stage in the 2011 Tour de France and in the 2011 Vuelta a España, and won the time trial at the 2011 UCI Road World Championships and 2012 UCI Road World Championships. He has also won stage races including the 2011 Paris-Nice.
One of the best time trialist rider all over the world he's the world time trial champion. We hope he could bring to the team other victory especially some race like Paris-Nice and in all time trial stage. Hee's a great addition to the team and he'll surely show his talent in this three year. |

FOURTH PICK: COLUMBIAN TALENT
Carlos Alberto Betancur Gomez was born on 13 October 1989.
In 2010 he won the GiroBio stage race; the amateur version of the Giro d'Italia; and in 2011 he won his first professional race at the Giro dell'Emilia. He finished 9th at Giro di Lombardia
He's a promise for the future but we are sure that he can bring some good result since this year. He will ride some CT race in Italy and our expectation are very high both for the present and for the future. |

FIFTH ROUND: ITALIAN SPRINTER
Born 9 March 1983 in Gavardo (Italy). He's known for what happened in the third stage of Giro where he was responsible for a crash that brought down world champion Mark Cavendish and race leader Taylor Phinney, after the crash he said "I don't care what is going on behind me". Ferrari later won stage 11 in a sprint finish in Montecatini Terme.
We needed a sprinter after a time trialist, a puncher and a GC rider, so here he is. He is a good sprinter and we hope in some decent result, though there are team like SGL-MAGIX that are advantaged in all sprint finish. Anyway today we are sad as we lost some great Italian rider like Gasparotto, Cunego, Pozzato (he signed with our friend Casper of team Motorex) and Pozzovivo. |

Since you got Nibbles on your squad, I will be rooting for you to win, even though you are an Italian team... I just love me some Nibbles Also Tony Martin

He will be our second leader for GC. He can improve and help Vincenzo, so i think it's a very good sign for the team.
He is a GC rider but he can be a good rider for the ardennes classic, he is a great talent (though he sign for only one year) and will be very useful in the season.
A great Italian talent, surely one with the biggest talent all over the world. We are happy to sign with him a contract of 2 year and he will be our future. |

Brajkovic and Poels were both on my list some rounds earlier.
