Draft - Rounds 11, 12, 13 and 14
Round 11:
We like national champions here at TLI. So we thought to bag a double national champ, and a great flat rider in general. To do this we would need to look at an older rider... Svein Tuft!
Svein is both the RR and ITT champion of Canada for the forth coming season. He is an accomplished tt'er and can pull comfortably on the flat for extended periods. A great domestique to have on the team.
GERTY Rating:
Round 12:
This was an other restricted round. Only over 30's. Fine for us. A single rider instantly came to mind. A legend of the sport... George Hincapie!
George is a good all-rounder. He has already had a long and decorated career. In his three years with us we anticipate more success for him. Its hard to find a better man in cycling today.
GERTY Rating:
Round 13:
Still wanting to bring in the solid domestiques, and another NC is possible. It was very possible to get both... Ramunas Navardauskas!
Ramunas is a great puller on the flat. He can all TT a bit. Currently the Lithuainian RR champion for the season. He can also get over hills to decent level.
GERTY Rating:
Round 14:
Having neglected the sponsors a little bit recently it was time to get back on their good side. And bagging some youth would be good. So france it was... Adrien Petit!
Adrien is a great up and coming sprinter with some decent cobbles ability. A very nice addition to the squad.

Draft Rounds 15, 16, 17 and 18
Round 15:
Restricted round so we had to get creative. Obvious we still wanted the best possible and we found a solid all-rounder. He slipped by everyone else... Pieter Jacobs!
Spoiler Please excuse the picture, we promise he will have both lost and gained weight by race time.
Pieter is best suited as a classics rider. But he can also climb surprisingly well, and has a solid ability to keep going over distance and days.
GERTY Rating:
Round 16:
How have we missed him! Still one major national champ available! We must have him! Can he climb? Yes, its ... Christophe Kern!
Chris is the french Time Trial champion so is great for the sponsors. He can also climb decently to give us more options on climbs. He will fit perfectly into the team and be a great mentor to the french talents.
GERTY Rating:
Round 17:
So we decided to get out of the crowded US and UK. France ho! Lots of youth around, and we needed another climber. Enter... Kenny Elissonde!
Kenny is another one of Frances great young climbers. He will have a great role on the climbs. With a good future ahead and a decent contract we expect good things.
GERTY Rating:
Round 18:
More climbers! And i had to pick a personal favorite rider of mine. He would have to fit in with the other riders, which he does. South African ... John-Lee Augustyn!
John-Lee is a solid climber. Hes also a really nice guy. Just a great rider to have on the team.

Draft Rounds 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28
Wow sorry we have ignored you all for so long! This will be a whistle stop run through so lets get going.
Round 19: Sticking with the French theme... Denis Flahaut!
Denis is one of the top sprinters in France. A great addition to the strong sprint squad.
GERTY Rating:
Round 20: You can never have too many NC's... Kristijan Durasek!
Kristijan is both RR and ITT champion of Croatia. He is a good GC support rider and looks good for the future.
GERTY Rating:
Round 21: You never have too many NC's still... Fumy Beppu!
Fumy is both the RR and ITT champion of Japan. He will be good support on the flat, and is generally fun person.
GERTY Rating:
Round 22: Looking now for more cobbles support... David Veilleux!
David is a favorite of mine and a good classics rider. He is a fine addition to the team.
GERTY Rating:
Round 23: Fine, lets have another NC... Marc de Maar!
Marc is the RR and ITT of Curacao. He is a decent climber and will fit nicely into the team.
GERTY Rating:
Round 24: How can i turn down a site favorite... Yukiya Arashiro!
Yukiya is perhaps the best Sprinter in Asia. He is always smiley, and a Daily fan favorite.
GERTY Rating:
Round 25: Lets pick up another good flat domestique... Ignatas Konovlovas!
Ignatas is decent TT'er and flat rider. He gets on well with Ramunas and will be good to have around.
GERTY Rating:
Round 26: Now we are looking at my personal favorites... Iljo Keisse!
I dont have enough space to tell you about Iljo. He has been a favorite for a few years and we had to have him.
GERTY Rating:
Round 27: Another favorite and young talent... Guillaume Van Kiersbulck!
Guillaume is a fantastic cobbles talent. He could be the next Boonen!
GERTY Rating:
Round 28: Final round, lets pick up another favorite of mine... Sergej Fuchs!
Sergej is a solid puncher support. I have loved him for a couple of years.
GERTY Rating:
Then there was the special round! And i still dont know how we got away with this!
Welcome... Sylvain Chavanel!
Spoiler [img-l]https://d4nuk0dd6nrma.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/Kramon_DwarsDoorVlaanderen2012_DSC0963-Version-2.jpg[/img-l]
French RR champion and just a great all-rounder! We can't express how happy we are, perhaps more so than when we got the WC!

This is for fun and general interest...
Who do the Team ride for in real life?
3 Riders from Sky - Cavendish, Flecha and Stannard
3 Riders from Garmin - Farrar, Zabriskie and Navardauskas
1 Rider from MTN - Van Rensburg
2 Riders from FDJ - Bouhanni and Elissonde
5 Riders from Quickstep - Leipheimer, Kwiatkowski, Keisse, Van Kiersbulck and Chavanel
1 Rider from Endura - Thwaites
2 Riders from Orica - Tuft and Beppu
1 Rider from BMC - Hincapie
1 Rider from Cofidis - Petit
1 Rider from Topsport - Jacobs
3 Riders from Europcar - Kern, Veilleux and Arashrio
1 Rider from Roubaix - Flahaut
1 Rider from Adria - Durasek
1 Rider from UHC - de Maar
1 Rider from Movistar - Konovlovas
1 Rider from NSP - Fuchs
Now for another one...
Where do the Riders come from?
So its quite an international squad, with a clear base in our Sponsor regions. We have riders from 4 continents speaking a variety of languages.
If we were to be compared with any real life team, past and present, it would be hard.
There is a clear influence from Omega Pharma-Quickstep in the present. But you can't ignore the Highroad and Mapei influences either.
Over the next days we will slowly release some ideas about our goals and race squads. Plus there will be a new jersey coming as well.

Goals, Goals, Goals
We have officially posted our goals for the season!
Our top goal comes at the biggest race in cycling. Mark Cavendish will be targeting the green Points Jersey at the race. We know its not a sprinters route, but we have to go for it!
Our next goal is to win Milan San-Remo. The sprinters classic has been won by Mark before and we hope he can do it again.
Middle of our priorities is a Podium finish at Paris-Roubaix. The monument is the pinnacle of cobbles. Flecha and Chavanel have good chances there.
We need more showing in France so we are looking to Podium at Paris-Nice. Both Leipheimer and Chavanel can pick up the result with some luck.
Finally we want a Stage Win at the Giro. The second biggest GT will be well attended but we know we have several riders that can grab a win.
Some of those goals will push the riders to the limit, but we think they are all achievable with some luck and good riding.
Also as you can tell Cavendish will be going to the Tour. This is a bold move on such a tough route. Plus he will have 100% support from a potentially devastating lead-out. Should be fun

Races and Jerseys
Lest start with Races. Here at TLI we have just completed our first round of race planning. 29 riders are confirmed, whilst two just need to be told their races. Several riders will be having long hard seasons in the pursuit of results. We will be releasing race squads periodically from here on in. You will see the Santos Tour Down Under squad soon.
So onto Jerseys. We are happy to announce a major change to the Jersey is coming! Our in house effort is ok, but not quite the quality we were hoping for. We have since gone to an established Jersey maker that TMM has a strong history with. So the new Jersey will be released soon. And a bonus as it comes with three NC's straight up, and hopefully more as well! I can say with confidence we have a chance of being the best looking team out there this season.
As a knock on from the new Jersey we will be getting a team nick name. I'll wait to release that until the jersey comes. Also on name news the team's name will be undergoing a slight change. Currently we are known as Team Lunar Industries. But our secondary sponsor wants more exposure so we will now be known as Team Lunar Industries - Umbrella Corporation. Its a mouth full i know, but now we also have the longest team name in the UCPCL!

New Jersey Presentation
There it is! Glorious isn't it! All credit to miggi133 for some truly fantastic work. So good i think i gave him a banana!
It currently also has 3 NC's:
Spoiler France - To be worn by Chavanel and Kern
Great Britain
United States - To be worn by Zabriskie
I said this would give us a new nickname as well: The Wolves
note: i did not get miggi to make this for the game, i've been using it in a career for a few weeks now, and it is awesome!

TDU Team Preview
The Tour Down Under is the opening race of the season. 4 sprint stages and 2 hilly stages. The highlight is a finish up Old Willunga Hill on Stage 5. Its a race that will be won by a punchuer, but a strong sprinter could have a chance at an upset.
So who do we send?
We start by stating we have no GC ambitions on this race. We send a team hunting a stage win and some breaks. Its a long season and we want to work into it slowly.
Leader: Nacer Bouhanni
Team-Mate: Adrien Petit
Team-Mate: Iljo Keisse
Team-Mate: Guillaume Van Kiersbulck
Team-Mate: Ignatas Konovlovas
Team-Mate: Yuki Arashiro
Team-Mate: Dag Jensen
Nacer will be the team leader. He is one of France's top sprinters and we think that he can snag a stage win, or of not a podium is a real possibility.
Adrien will be his main lead-out man, along with Arashiro.
The rest of the team can form a decent train, but will hopefully be more often away in the break.
Target: Stage Win

Aren't you missing a guy?
But the team's intentions are pretty clear, do your best with a bad team. Might work, but I'm expecting all the flats to be mass sprints and I also expect there will be a few better sprinters then Bouhannir out there
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

@ollfardh
oops missed off Dag, so updated.
Bad team? Bad team! Its a solid team with a clear and quality leader.
Plus working off experience having a good team does not equal results. This way i can't really be disappointed with any result, and save Cavendish for bigger races (well CT races )
