I will meet some of your leaders in Kenya and Eritrea, Ndbri will have a hard time against some top PCT climbers (like Popovych maybe?)
Good luck, i am looking forward to battle your nice African team.

Well, we only have one HC race, and it iis in Kenya so we might as well send a full force team
Don't think we'll have a chance though against riders like Popovych, but a top 10 would be nice |

Tour d’Algerie
17th - 21st January
Evaluation:
The Tour d'Algerie is our debut race in the peloton. For this special occasion we have sent out a near full-strength team, with Yasmani leading hopeful of getting a good GC placing from the mountain stage. Tarik has also been selected, as we feel the flat stages have more than a few hills on them and he will go stage hunting. For the flat stages that end in mass sprints we have Nico and Matthew who will try to get top 10's. Our full lineup:
Leader:
Yasmani Martinez
Sprinter:
Nico Schinker
Free Elements:
Tarik Chaoufi
Matthew Brammeier
Helpers:
Yusuf Abrekov
Daniel Njoroge
Mujtaba Hussein
Trofeo Luis Puig
31st January
Evaluation:
For this flat classic in Spain we have brought a long sprint train. Nico will be last to the line, with Matthew before and Daan, Alejandro and Mujtaba delivering them into the closing kilometers. We don't expect big results as Nico is one of the second tier CTour sprinters but a top 10 should be possible. Behnam has also been selected in case the race is decided over the early hills but that looks unlikely. Our lineup:
Leader:
Nico Schinker
Free Elements:
Matthew Brammeier
Behnam Khalilikhosroshani
Helpers:
Daan Rijntjes
Alejandro Marque
Daniel Eliad
Mujtaba Hussein

I personally don't have the time to write up a preview of the Continental Tour, and there are already some great ones but I have made a prediction and I thought I would throw it in with the others:

2. Die Berg Komt Er
3. Allianz - BMW
4. Team Gazelle
5. Boeing – Vivacom
6. Kappa - ENI
7. Adira - ISQ
8. Kenya Airways - Barclays
9. Futbol Club Barcelona - Estrella Damm
10. Magna - Ryanair
11. Banco Nacional de Costa Rica
12. Mobil – Castrol
13. PrivatBank
14. MTN – World Bicycle Relief
15. Sauber – Petronas
16. Vattenfall Cycling
17. ANC – Halfords
18. Team Credexbank
19. Eskpla - Cision

Khalilikhosroshani on good form in Australia
Behnam Khalilikhosroshani and Matthew Brammeier have been riding in the unoficcial season opener, The Bay Classic Series. Stage one was relatively quiet with Risa-Ergon's Sutton taking the win and our riders sitting in the peloton. The same can however not be said about stage two where Behnam got in the break and Matthew sprinted to 13th place. Tomorrow on the hilly stage 3 Behnam is hoping for a high finish because of the hills.

We'll see, I just think they might be a bit one-dimensional but they are still right up there. Die Berg have Arroyo, Flens, Duque and Ostergaard + a load of sprinters while Allianz have Maes, Talabardon, Coyot and Dekkers.
I just think when Weening and maybe Westra isn't racing for Gazelle they lack top riders that others have to be fighting for top spot

Today Nico Schinker sprinted to our first ever podium, on the third stage of our first ever race. He finished third after stage winner Anton Martin and race leader Polovida who finished first and second respectively. Here he is behind Anton:
Anton sprinting for the win on stage 3, Nico third behind him
Nico is now 3rd in the overall points rankings, while Yasmani Martinez is also looking good for a GC challenge, finishing in the top 20 on each stage. Tarik Chaoufi has been more quiet than expected but still managed to breakaway and get caught in the last kilometer on stage 3. A roundup of our results so far:
Stage 1: 5th, Nico Schinker
Stage 2: 5th, Nico Schinker
Stage 3: 3rd, Nico Schinker

Today in the Algerian wilderness, Yasmani Martinez finished eighth in the final and deciding stage of the Tour d'Algerie. The team manager was apparently not happy with the result, with the expectations being a top 5 in the GC. The winner of the stage was Julien Rodas of MTN - WBR with Dani Moreno of Ibeira taking the GC.
Yasmani being dropped from the leaders
Also participating in the race was our young talent Fredrik Strand Galta, who is currently on loan at Adira - ISQ project. He finished a surprising 17th which seems to confirm his great talent. The day before Nico Schinker finished eight in a bunch sprint at the end of stage 5. Our final results:
Stage 4: 8th, Nico Schinker
Stage 5: 8th, Yasmani Martinez
Final GC, Tour d'Algerie: 8th, Yasmani Martinez

First Win at The Vuelta al Tachira
One of four flat stages taking the race towards the mountains, it was always going to end in a bunch sprint. Hillary Kiprotich got in the break looking for some camera time.
Hillary attacking out of the peloton
He showed off the jersey but was caught. Vahid Ghafari sprinted to 6th place in an exciting finish, won by Dimitri De Fauw of Bintang.
De Fauw taking the win, Vahid sprinting to 6th
Stage Results:
1 | Dimitri De Fauw | Team Bintang | 2h44'44 | 2 | Ismaël Kip | ING Cycling - Project | s.t. | 3 | Wouter Weylandt | Bouygues Telecom | s.t. | 4 | Daniel Vesely | Cisco Cycling Team | s.t. | 5 | Aleksandr Serebriakov | Hollister Pro Cycling | s.t. | 6 | Vahid Ghafari | Kenya Airways - Barclays | s.t. | 7 | Jose Luis Cano | Banco Nacional de Costa Rica | s.t. | 8 | Evgeni Popov | LukOil-Rostelekom | s.t. | 9 | Óscar Avelino | Prio - Porto | s.t. | 10 | Jérôme Pineau | Team WWE | s.t. |
Similar to stage 1, a pan flat race certain to end in a sprint. Vahid Ghafari couldn't repeat his success of stage 1 and finished 9th. Serebriakov of Hollister took the stage and the GC lead.
Serebriakov claiming the win
Stage Results:
1 | Aleksandr Serebriakov | Hollister Pro Cycling | 3h03'42 | 2 | Óscar Avelino | Prio - Porto | s.t. | 3 | Wouter Weylandt | Bouygues Telecom | s.t. | 4 | Ismaël Kip | ING Cycling - Project | s.t. | 5 | Jose Luis Cano | Banco Nacional de Costa Rica | s.t. | 6 | Daniel Vesely | Cisco Cycling Team | s.t. | 7 | Anthony José Brea | Hollister Pro Cycling | s.t. | 8 | Sascha Damrow | Team WWE | s.t. | 9 | Vahid Ghafari | Kenya Airways - Barclays | s.t. | 10 | Dimitri De Fauw | Team Bintang | s.t. |
Same as the previous two, a pan flat stage. Avelino won the stage in another mass-sprint for Prio - Porto and stole the GC from Serebriakov, Vahid Ghafari took 7th.
Avelino Celebrating with Vahid sprinting in the background
Stage Results:
1 | Óscar Avelino | Prio - Porto | 3h31'23 | 2 | Wouter Weylandt | Bouygues Telecom | s.t. | 3 | Aleksandr Serebriakov | Hollister Pro Cycling | s.t. | 4 | Ismaël Kip | ING Cycling - Project | s.t. | 5 | Jose Luis Cano | Banco Nacional de Costa Rica | s.t. | 6 | Daniel Vesely | Cisco Cycling Team | s.t. | 7 | Vahid Ghafari | Kenya Airways - Barclays | s.t. | 8 | Evgeni Popov | LukOil-Rostelekom | s.t. | 9 | Jérôme Pineau | Team WWE | s.t. | 10 | Marc Goos | HTC Nieuwsblad | s.t. |
The final 'boring' flat stage. Not much to report on apart from Vahid Ghafari keeping up the top 10's, finishing 6th this time like stage 1. Kip took the win for ING, proving to be the fourth winner from four sprints. Serebriakov took the GC lead back by finishing 2nd.

Stage Results:
1 | Ismaël Kip | ING Cycling - Project | 2h52'03 | 2 | Aleksandr Serebriakov | Hollister Pro Cycling | s.t. | 3 | Wouter Weylandt | Bouygues Telecom | s.t. | 4 | Evgeni Popov | LukOil-Rostelekom | s.t. | 5 | Jose Luis Cano | Banco Nacional de Costa Rica | s.t. | 6 | Vahid Ghafari | Kenya Airways - Barclays | s.t. | 7 | Óscar Avelino | Prio - Porto | s.t. | 8 | Dimitri De Fauw | Team Bintang | s.t. | 9 | Daniel Vesely | Cisco Cycling Team | s.t. | 10 | Jérôme Pineau | Team WWE | s.t. |
An amazing stage for us. Hillary Kiprotich got in the break again, looking to show off our jersey in front of the TV cameras.
Kiprotich in the break
The break got caught though on the first climb of the day. Before the second climb Camano attacked with three others. At the steep part of the climb he powered away from his break compatriots and took the King of the Mountains sprint
Camano riding away from the break
He pulled out a gap of a minute, and stayed away to take the team's first ever win! He also took the GC lead and the KoM jersey, well done Iker. Zakayo Ndbri finished in the second group on the road and Vahid Ghafari hung in the peloton to take the white jersey. We also took the teams classification.
Camano taking our first ever win in style
Stage Results:
1 | Iker Camaño | Kenya Airways - Barclays | 3h56'33 | 2 | Florentino Marquez | HTC Nieuwsblad | + 41 | 3 | Franco Pellizotti | Team WWE | s.t. | 4 | Gorka Izagirre | LukOil-Rostelekom | s.t. | 5 | Yonathan Monsalve | Hollister Pro Cycling | s.t. | 6 | Zakayo Ndbri | Kenya Airways - Barclays | s.t. | 7 | Pedro Nicácio | Prio - Porto | + 1'18 | 8 | Óscar Solis | Bouygues Telecom | s.t. | 9 | Alex Ardila Cano | Repsol-Cativen | s.t. | 10 | Richard Ochoa Quintero | Hollister Pro Cycling | s.t. |
Another stage for the sprinters with a lump in the middle. Zakayo Ndbri, who was 5th in the GC crashed halfway through the stage giving the team manager a scare but he re-joined the peloton.
Ndbri on the floor
Vahid Ghafari went on to finish a disappointing 12th and Serebriakov took his second win of the tour. Camano kept the GC lead.

And a summary of the classifications we are leading in:
GC at the end of Stage 6:
1 | Iker Camaño | Kenya Airways - Barclays | 19h44'06 | 2 | Florentino Marquez | HTC Nieuwsblad | + 49 | 3 | Franco Pellizotti | Team WWE | + 53 | 4 | Gorka Izagirre | LukOil-Rostelekom | + 1'01 | 5 | Zakayo Ndbri | Kenya Airways - Barclays | s.t. | 6 | Vahid Ghafari | Kenya Airways - Barclays | + 1'38 | 7 | Evgeni Popov | LukOil-Rostelekom | s.t. | 8 | Vitor Rodrigues | Hollister Pro Cycling | s.t. | 9 | Julien Berard | HTC Nieuwsblad | s.t. | 10 | Richard Ochoa Quintero | Hollister Pro Cycling | s.t. |

The Emerald Race
12th February
Target: Top 5
Evaluation:
The Emerald Race will be Tarik’s first race as independent leader which is the first of many he hopes to score in. He will try to get a top 5 in Australia, with support from, Henrique Madeira and Behnam. We do not have news of a full startlist but we expect the top puncheurs who battled it out in San Cristobal to be here which should make it difficult to grab the top spots. This is why we have chosen a top 5 as our goal for the race. Our lineup:
Leader:
Tarik Chaoufi
Free Elements:
Behnam Khalilikhosroshani
Matthew Brammeier
Helpers:
Henrique Madeira Casimiro
Yusuf Abrekov
Hillary Kiprotich
Suleiman Kangangi
Bahir Dar
14th February
Target: Breakaway
Evaluation:
The Bahir Dar looks like it is going to be our worst race this season. We have no cobble riders, the only reason we entered was because it is an Africa tour race. Not much to say apart from we expect nothing, and we will be happy if we get in the breakaway. In the unlikely event that Tarik can get over the cobbles he has a great chance but that is highly unlikely. Our lineup:
Leader:
Tarik Chaoufi
Free Elements:
Hillary Kiprotich
Behnam Khalilikhosroshani
Helpers:
Daniel Eliad
Mujtaba Hussein
Yoann Paillot
Suleiman Kangangi
Tour of The Middle East
17th - 28th February
Target: 1st GC, 3 Stage Wins
Evaluation:
Even with Landa and Mestre coming to the UAE, we expext our lineup to overpower the competition and dominate this stage race. Only eight teams are attending so Yasmani and Zakayo should be the driving force in the mountains while Daan and Yasmani look to be the best time-triallers on display. Tarik will look to win the hilly stages so overall our lineup looks really good. We hope to score major points in this race. Our goal is to win the GC, which should prove possible with Yasmani thanks to the long TT. The other goal, 3 Stage Wins should be also easy to achieve with us having favourites on most stages. I personally can’t wait for this race. Our lineup:
Leader:
Yasmani Martinez
Free Elements:
Zakayo Ndbri
Tarik Chaoufi
Helpers:
Daan Rijntjes
Vahid Ghafari
Iker Camano
Yoann Paillot

The profile was flat with a hill at the start, with the favourites being Saulo Lay of Ibeira and Jiri Hochmann of Die Berg. We controlled the race over the first climb of the day, trying to nurse Nico Schinker to the top safely.
Us controlling the race on the opening climb
After the climb the pace increased as the breakaway formed. We stayed at the front helping Ibeira and Futbol Club Barcelona with the pace-making after hearing Nico was in good form.
Our riders helping with the pace-making
Once we caught the break the sprint started. Ibeira set up the only train for Saulo Lay, and Nico was right on his wheel.
Nico in an Ideal position as the sprint starts
And into the final kilometer the sprint was in full swing. Nico was overtaking Lay, and moving into an unexpected lead!
Nico moving into the lead
And he held on to take a surprise win! An amazing ride form the Luxembourgian, taking some very valuable points for our team.
Nico celebrating a hard earned win
Results:
1 | Nico Schinker | Kenya Airways - Barclays | 4h20'44 | 2 | Saulo Lay | Iberia - Communidad Valenciana | s.t. | 3 | JÃri Hochmann | Die Berg Komt Er | s.t. | 4 | Igor Abakoumov | Die Berg Komt Er | s.t. | 5 | Isaac Speirs | Magna-Ryanair | s.t. | 6 | Bruno Santos | Prio - Porto | s.t. | 7 | Simon Galle | Vattenfall Cycling | s.t. | 8 | Sébastien Chavanel | Die Berg Komt Er | s.t. | 9 | Thiago Duarte Nardin | Team Gazelle | s.t. | 10 | Geoffroy Lequatre | FC Barcelona - Estrella Damm | s.t. |

Great win for Schinker! Never imagined Id see him win a race in the ManGame. Odd how the game gives him black skin just because the team is Kenyan though, the settings in the database say that he should have white skin - crazy cya-logic!

Thanks, really happy we signed him and he seems to be proving me wrong by winning races. I just thought he would get top 10's due to his bad backup stats
About the black skin it's weird, every one of our riders is black ...
