Tutorial:
1. Download the Excel editor, unzip
2. Open "Exporter"
3. Click "Extract DB"
4. Choose "DYN_cyclist", "STA_region" and/or "DYN_team" (at least that is the names in PCM11)
5. Open new Excel document
6. Copy paste each tab from the editor into the new document
DYN_cyclist contains rider stats
STA_region explain the codes used to show where the riders are from in DYN_cyclist
DYN_team explain the codes used to show what team the rider belongs to
STA_region is needed if we choose teams ourselves out of the riders from that country, DYN_team if you build the teams for us.
Thoughts about team strenght:
Perhaps it would even make sense to split some of the larger nations into smaller ones to make the game less skewed. As it is e.g. Spain will be able to produce a favorite for every single race on the calendar. Perhaps if split into two or three parts by region number. In PCM11 Spain consist of regions 801-817. Then perhaps we could have two teams on regions 801-808 and 809-817. Similarly on other big nations with several regions and favorites for every race?
Edit: I'll take Denmark
Thanks for that.
The only issue with spliting up regions is that it doesn't really fit with the whole nationalism of the game. That is why we have the 'DS of the season awar' as being Spain would basically outlaw you from that as winning the World Team Championship would be expected.
The only two regions I would consider doing that with is the Basque Country and Catalunya if they are outlined as seperate regions in the game (I'm at work, can't check until tommorow) if they have 20+ rider (could just use EE's jersey for the first and would need someone to make a Catalunya one).
@Froomedog, Luxemburg have about 12 riders in game. |

Preferred having a race in the US and didn't want more than 14 stage races.
On that not, due to the increase in races on le triks original idea (and my subsequent upping of the racedays from 60 to 70. I'm adding in a 2 Grand Tour rule for realism (seeing as 3 GT's would be 63 days). |

Looking at the potential list of cyclists from the Basque country, I think that'd work very well. |

Spain have got Spanish jerseys and Basque wear Euskaltel-Euskadi.
Just run a practice, all works except the Czech Republic jersey for some reason.
EDIT: Done the first draft of the rankings system. Still working on it at the minute.
