Stage 2
Today is another flat stage. Farrar is going for the win again.
The Race
Today the team wanted someone in the break so when the first rider attacked he was followed by Stitina.
When Stitina got caught I told Zebriskie to get on the front and catch the break.
With 110km to go Cancellara, Flecha and Pozzato attacked. They are trying from a long way out.
10km later they had 2 minutes on the peloton now being lead by VacansOleil.
The team needed someone in the front group so when Juraj Sagan attacked Martin followed. Martin dropped Sagan and was on his own about 1 minute behind.
With 71km to go Martin actually caught up to the leading group.
With 50km to go I was forced to work as I didn't want to waste my sprinters energy. Martin had dropped off so the leading group of 3 was 1.12 ahead.
With 30km to go they had 57 seconds. It will be a close race.
They were finally caught with 22km to go. It will be a sprint finish now.
We had a rather simple sprint train today. Me first, Haussler then Farrar.
With 5km to go I started my turn and we started moving up the side.
Bennati does it. Thanks to Bazayev Farrar got boxed in and could only manage 10th place.

Stage 3
Today is a flat stage but with a hill at the end only about 15km from the finish. I may have a go there.
The Race
The team put Zebriskie, Millar, Martin and Stitina on the front along with a few Europcar riders to help with the pass making.
Many breakaways tried to get away but none could because of the pass of the team on the front.
At the first sprint point it was won by our own Farrar. 2nd went to....
Ventoso and Boonen 3rd.
The only break that actually got away includes Ardilla, Lequatre and Flecha. 2.26 behind is Paterski and 1.34 behind Paterski is the peloton.
With the hill only about 15km away I was getting ready. I may not do that well though (-3 Daily form).
I attacked with LL Sanchez on the hill.
Contador attacked so I followed.
We got caught so Farrar got on Haussler's wheel ready for the sprint.
With 5km to go I tried one more time.
With 2km to go I had 9 seconds and I knew I probably want going to stay away so I told Haussler to start the leadout.
I was caught with 1.4km to go and the first to go past me was Farrar.
With 1km to go Farrar was starting to pull away from Ventoso. He may be coming of with his first win today.
Farrar had done it. His and the teams first win at this years Paris Nice.

A Crash in the Peloton
Today we had a favourite for the race Ryder Hesjedal crash. Luckily he wasn't hurt and was quickly back into the peloton thanks to the help of his team mate Matthew Wilson. After the race Hesjedal said this "I don't know what happened I just touched the riders wheel and the next thing I knew I was on the ground. Luckily I wasn't hurt".
Tomorrow is the first hill stage and my first chance to win.

Well done putting the pressure on with Ryder and keeping Tyler ready as the others probably used a lot of energy on the chase

Stage 4
The first stage for the GC contenders. I am hoping for a top 5 or to not lose anytime today.
The Race
Millar and Haussler got on the front to try and bring back a threat for the
stage win.
We brought back the leading group just after the 1st classified climb.
With 50km to go the overall leader (Farrar) dropped off.
With 40km to go the leading rider (Hermans has 5.52 on the peloton. I think he will stay away unless the favourites can catch him.
35km to go
I attacked trying to bridge the gap.
With 12km to go I was caught but still had a bit of energy. Hermans was now only 1.03 ahead of the peloton.
I had another shot with 6km to go. I followed Pozzato and Leukemans.
And Hermans manages to hold on. He wins with a fantastic show of strength.
Cunego got 2nd and Bakelants 3rd.
I managed to stay in the peloton and not lose anytime to the other favourites.

Stage 5
Today is another hill stage which I could actually win. The objective I a top 5.
The Race
A picture update usually looks good so I am going to try that today.
61 riders of the back. Gesink is in this group.
Just before the end of the first major climb.
The big attack early on.
Up front Contador had just taken the win passing Martin with 2km to go.
Here I am crossing the line more than 2 minutes later.

GC Rankings
Not a good race from me. Dan Martin did a good race with 10th and the mountains jersey. I am now 11th 2.05 behind. I am going to need something special to come back from this.

Stage 6
Today is the TT. I am hoping for a good finish to get some time back. Millar and Zebriskie have a shot to be rewarded for all their work.
The Race
At the first time check Zebriskie was 37 seconds ahead of the next rider and about to pass the rider ahead. Had he gone out to hard to early?
Zebriskie went fastest by 46 seconds. There is still a long way to go.
Larsson went with a long way to go.
Larsson went across the line in 3rd 24 seconds behind Zebriskie who was still in the lead.
Tony Martin was the next favourite to go.
I left with 10 riders to go. At this point Cancellara was leading by 20 seconds to Voigt.
Cadel Evans went next.
I was 22nd at the first time check.
Tony Martin went fastest with 14 riders left to cross the line.
I went across the line in 40th provisionally.
The overall leader finished in 2nd place 37 seconds behind the winner L.L. Sanchez

Today wasn’t a good day for the team. It has pretty much wrecked my chances of a comeback. There is still a chance for a stage win and Martin could take the mountains jersey home. Can we savour the Tour?
