shhhhhhhhh you're gonna make it easy for the lazy managers to find top talent.
I've already added the riders listed above to my shortlist

Talking on French TV, Simply Red Bull manager Smowz indicated that he felt that BPost was a team he fancied as early contenders for next years CTour title.
Of course his motivation for saying this seemed in part political. Quotes included:
Jérome Giaux and Sven Vanthourenhout have both indicated to me that Bpost is the Belgian team of choice as they believe that squad offers the best balance of riders for them. Both I think realised last year that after racing the Paris Roubaix their best chances of results remained in the second tier. It's tough really as we would like to keep at least Jérome on, with Sven allowed to finish his contract. If we were to recieve the right kind of offer, I think Jérome would be allowed to move on especially to a team like Bpost.
It is interesting to see Cyril Gautier on the market, it goes without saying we are interested in him. Unlike our French rivals in Festina, I think Gautier would be allowed to ride for his own chances rather than support an Italian. We also feel that young Stallaert could make significant strides forward by racing with a Protour team for a year. He is a very talented rider and we are hopeful that we can come to a mutually beneficial business arrangement
I like the new jersey, they've gone for a change so not to be confused with the other Belgian Blue team. Sometimes a colour gives the whiff of some unpleasent memories and Bpost had some quiet unsettling times last and the 'other blue' team certainly had plenty!

Statement to the Management at Simply Red Bull
Firstly we thank the management of the squad for their confidence in our team and say that we also hope that we are in the running to join the top teir next season. At this point let us address the rumours about our squad:
Jerome Giaux could interest us as he is someone with a decent ability in the classics, as shown by his cobbled victory last season, but his wage would have to be far lower before we consider him as we are uncertain if he is the sort of rider who could bring in points on a consistent basis. In fact this is our issue with Sven Vanthourenhout as well. Though he is much cheaper already, he is also in the twilight of his career and thus we don't feel that we can develop him further in future. That said, depending on what offers are on the table we might listen, but the Red Bull management can't expect too much for them.
Concerning Cyril Gautier we understand that he would get more opportunities to ride for himself at Simply Red Bull, though they already have several strong puncheurs. While he wishes to ride for his own chances, unless there is an interesting trade offer we will be selling him to the highest bidder. Blaise Sonnery could be of some interest but that depends on how likely other signings that we are planning on look.
As for Joeri Stallaert he will certainly be staying in our team this year and will not be loaned out. Under the new rules for rider experience we don't see a lot of purpose in having him loaned out as it would not greatly increase the speed of his advancement. Depending on the number of race days which the UCI allow him this may change, however.

You and Cio I think made me overpay Vantomme last year. Payback time coming soon. |

All of us have access to the transfer season thread, so why not look it up?
My last bid was 270.000, which definately was justified imo. Then Bpost joined and you two went that far.
So I don't think I was to blame at all, noone would have gifted you Vantomme for less than I bid.

Team BPost Reveal Race Goals
As the pre-season rolls on, Team BPost are pleased today to announce their goals for the 2013 season. We are quite ambitious this year but with our current squad and planned changes, we are certain that we can achieve all of these things and have a real shot at promotion.
Top 5 - ProContinental Rankings
We believe that with our planned changes a top 5 spot is definitely possible, and we will be gunning for one of the promotion spots this year..
Win - E3 Prijs (HC)
After coming 2nd, 4th and 5th in the lead group of 5 riders at last year's race, we are out for revenge. Vanspeybrouck will build his entire season around this race and we will give him the support that he needs.
Win - Dwars Door Vlaanderen
Our second win goal on Belgian soil. An important race not just for our sponsors, but also for our fans. Last year we did not win a single classic on home soil, but this year we want to change that. Vanspeybrouck was 3rd here last year.
Win - De Brabantsje Pijl
A much tougher course than previous years, with cobbles included this year, makes this one of our priorities. We know that we will have fierce competition in all these races but we are 100% certain that Vanspeybrouck can prevail, particularly with his faithful lieutenant Albert by his side.
Top 5 - 5 Jours de Dunkerque
Arguably Vanspeybrouck's biggest win last year. We had a magnificent race here in 2012, with a 1-2 on the queen stage. We return to defend our title though a top 5 result will be our official target.

Aim big.
It will screw you next season if you don't get them though.

Brutal goals, but in the end, HTC can be your only real challenger there on the cobbles in PCT, so if you bribe them to loose, you are in!

I am already looking forward to that. After all this talk, what are the chances outsider rider wins E3 Prijs ?
Well, we'll definitely meet in lots of races this season

Last season it was won by an outsider. But this was PCM11. Not sure how PCM12 handles cobbled races.
Spoiler Plus Boom was obviously always the big favourite to take E3. Last season and this season again. |

If you could count on the consistency of the 2011 MG season when Vanspeybrouck won just about anything with a bumpy road, then your goals would be perfect. I hope PCM12 is kind to you

We are pleased to announce that our renewals for the 2013 season are complete. We managed to renew all of the riders who we wanted to get back into our team for the season. Albert and Vansummeren held out for more money than we had initially planned for, but we are happy that they are on board with us. It is also worth noting that some key riders took a pay cut, which will give us more money to play with during the transfer season. Full wage details will become available when every team has completed their renewals.
Seven riders were not renewed and we wish them the best of luck in finding a new team.

According to local newspaper, although re-signed new contract, Nikolas Maes is on the way to Pokerstars.com. "It would be thrilling to be a part of organization, which wants build team around cycling legend Tom Boonen!", he said in interview.
Interesting news, any comments from Bpost HQ?

I've heard otherwise, that he wanted to be a leader for the cobble-squad of VolksWagen-Mapei
