Meiji are interested in Caruso, Dall'Antonia and Pirazzi, if the right price is negotiated. Since they are both on the "For sale" list, we hope to maybe work out a deal for real once the transfer season begins.
As I stated before, I'll accept the highest offer regardless of the price. Dall'Antonia has previously been linked to the newly promoted Metinvest squad however, and his availability will depend on how those negotiations turn out.
The other two are good to go. We can surely work on a deal when we reach the transfer season.

Caruso's linked to Australia, sources say
A picture of Gianpaolo Caruso carrying a lovely kangaroo = a picture of Caruso expressing his love for Australia? It's not yet official and there has already been some interest from Meiji, but Caruso is said to be on Oz Cycling's radar as well. A rumour that obviously pretty much depends on Caruso's salary expectations for next season. But still, a lovely picture it ist, right?

Certainly a very nice picture!
Caruso is definitely interested in a move to Down Under, but as you said, it'll depend on the bids and his new wage. All alternatives are considered.

Caruso has also been linked with a move to the ProTour and the successful Pendleton's outfit, to take a shot as a Grand Tour team leader. He would be expected to take the mantle in the Giro and other Italian stage races. The press are still waiting for comment from the Cisco manager. |

Giro leadership and return to ProTour is certainly something Caruso would enjoy. But as stated previously, the highest bidder takes the price, be it PT or CT team. Overbid the rest, and you'll get him.

Would a quality rider like Siutsou with a low wage from a country that has a Customs Union with Kazakhstan (and are set for further integration) help to sweeten any potential deal? |

That sounds very appealing. I'd find that sort of deal hard to say no to.

There are too few top puncheurs. Finding a cheap one is impossible apparently.

Evian should stay with Mongolese and French riders, thinks Metinvest manager.
Anyway top punchers will be real battlefield imo.

It certainly will be hard. The main target is still Efimkin, although that'll depend on whether Milka will put him up for transfer or not.

Team News #3: Transfer plan
With the db now officially released, it's time to reveal the plan I've been working on for the transfer season. As already known, the team is moving to Kazakhstan for 2013, and thus we're looking for riders from there.
As the goal is to build up a young team for the future, the obvious main target is real life U23 world champion, Alexey Lutsenko. While he may not look like much right now, he has the potential to develop into a top class rider for the hilly classics. We'll pay anything to get him.
Lutsenko with his worlds gold medal.
Next to him, the other top priority targets are Nikita Umerbekov and Daniil Fominykh. The first of those as backup in the classics, and the latter for time trials. We're really hoping that these wont be as popular to other teams as the man above. Either way, we'll pay as much as necessary.
Young climber Umerbekov will be another major target.
Obviously, the target list contains several other names as well. However, to avoid creating more interest in them, we're keeping them "secret". The Kazakh market is where we'll be seen, hopefully signing a few strong names.

Team News #4: Asia Tour set to become a target
After having a serious look at the upcoming season's calendar, I'm excited to announce that our racing will be centered around the Asian Tour. With plenty of races suited for the sort of riders we're targeting, it's an obvious choice - especially considering that we actually are a western Asian team.
Especially some of the hilly classics and harder stage races appeals to us. We'll hopefully be a real contender for the Asian Tour podium, as long as my plans work out the way I'd like them to. The transfer season will be more important than ever before!

Nah, I've heard some weird things about the people from there. What are they called again? I think it's something that starts with a C...
