You added some nice pieces to your team. Kreder should have an excellent sprint train.
Thanks, yeah he need a very good train to make some good results I guess. He may be a little weak himself in the sprint stat.

Yeah, Hoogerland and Hermans certainly help take this slowly improving team to the next level.
Kreder's a decent sprinter who wasn't going to do anything at protour level so should be interesting to see how well he does at this level.
Ahlstrand was a wee bit too pricey, but that is going to be a familiar story across teams for the very best talents.
Yes, we ain´t the fastest developing team
I hope Kreder can make some nice results with the support he have in this team.
You´re right about Ahlstrand but a future sprinterstar from Sweden, we didn´t have any other choice there but sign him

Itll be fun watching Hoogerland back at PCT level, hopefully the experience he gained at Vesuvio will serve him well!
Yes, I´m glad I decided to loan him out last season, thanks for that.
He sure needs to score some points for this team. |

Wildcards for Pro Tour races
We are happy to say that we will ride 2 ProTour races this season.
One of them will start in "our" country, Tour Of Northern Europe.
The prologue will be raced in Gothenburg, stage to from Borås to Huskvarna, after that the race will go to Denmark-->Germany-->Netherlands-->Belgium and last finnish in France. It´s a good mix between flat and hilly stages.
The other race is a oneday race in Czech Republic, Praha - Karlovy Vary - Praha.
It´s a hard flat race with quite much climbing but with a good chance that a sprinter will win it.
Our whole calander for 2013 is now on our front page.

We send a squad with Kreder as our main sprinter to Down Under Classic but the race didn´t went as we wanted at all.
Kenny Van Hummel came in first for us in 38th place, and Kreder was the other who managed a top 100 with a 98th place.
It has to be said that Klostergaard crashed and some others, maybe some of our riders was caught behind when that happend.
We will stay Downunder and seeking revenge in Tour Down Under with the following riders:
Michel Kreder
Jonas Ahlstrand
Ben Hermans
Kasper Klostergaard
Magnus Cort Nielsen
George Alexandre Stancu
Kenny Van Hummel
We managed to get a picture from the first race this season so here we have our full kit

It¨s been ages since it happened anything in this thread...
The season has been tougher then we expected and we have been figting in the botttom of the table all season long but right now we are on the right side of the relegation zone.
Time to sum up some of our races!
First it was time for Olympia´s Tour where we had high hopes that Kreder would do some great results in his homecountry, we didn´t do as great resulst as planned and only thing to write home about was Kreders 2nd place on the last stage, Johan Lindgren did get a 11th place in the GC.
After that we went home to Sweden for one of the most important races this season, Scandinavia Open Road Race.
We had a strong squad there with Lövkvist, Hoogerland and Hermans but it didn´t went well and Hoogerland was best with a 9th place.
In Corsica International Thomas Lövkvist managed to get 10th in the GC.
In Tropicale Amissa Bongo it was Hoogerland who did best and did get one 2nd place on stage 4 and also a 7th in the GC.
Hel van het Mergelland was another important race for us this season and here we did great and Michel Kreder got 2nd!
Johnny Hoogerland did win a stage in Tour de l'Ain.
Rogaland GP in Norway is a race that our sponsors wanted us to do great in, it went okey and Hermans took a 4th.
Tallinn-Tartu Grand Prix was a big failure for us we only did get a 16th place in a race we had hoped for much more...
Criterium Hainleite was another disappointing race for us and Jerome Giuax was best with 20th.
Eneco tour was a race that we had hopes to get some podium places but unfortunaly we only did get top 10 places.
In Int. Österreich Rundfahrt once again it was Hoogerland who did best for us with 3rd in the GC and 2nd on one stage.
Theo Eltink and Jonas Bjelkmark did also make great results here with 7th and 8th in the GC.
Sibiu Tour went above our expectations on stage 2 Lökvist took a 3rd place, stage 3 was a TTT where our team managed a 3rd place. On stage 4 Lökviist came in on 5th but placed him self in 2nd in the GC and on the last stage Lövkvist defended his 2nd place.

Another update!
We have raced a few races since the last time we had a update here, below we will make a Review of those races.
In South Africe it was time for Nelspruit Classic a race for punchers and it was Hoogerland who was the guy for us, unfortunately he was at his best an did roll in at 15th.
But in Spain Hoogerland could make a Little revenge at Clasica San Sebastian and he did take a 7th here, good result!
Greece was the country for a stage race with a lot of Mountains.
We had great success here with Lövkvist 2nd on one stage, Bjelkmark 3rd on Another and Magnus Cort Nielsen took a really good result by winning one stage after a breakaway.
Lövkvist round this great race up with a nice 3rd Place in the GC.
GP Ouest France - Plouay is a race for the sprinters who can do a Little of climbing to, Kreder showed great form and sprinted to 2nd and Hoogerland was strong to get 7nd.
Race Horizon Park was also a race for sprinters and we did get two guys in top 10, Giuax at 8th and Hermans at 10th.
It´s been a nice time for our team lately and we have collected a nice amount of Points and fighting to stage in the PCT.
Right now where are battling for more Points in Baltic Chain Tour and Vuelta a Burgos!

Season over!
First we will report our best results since the last update.
In Tour of Britain Michel Kreder took a podium Place on stage two with a 2nd Place he managed to repeat that on stage 4 aswell.
Stage 5 was Another good results with Kreder sprinting to 3rd.
Stage 8, the last one Kreder was the strongest and won the stage thanks to all his great stage results he finished 2nd in the GC, very good race for us.
In Zagreb-Ljubjlana Hoogerland secured some Points for us when he raced well and was 4th over the line.
In Italy it was time for Milano-Torino and also here Hoogerland was our captain and he did okey with a 6th Place.
On Tour of Bejings stage 5 Lövkvist was in the break of the day and was the strongest and took a stage win. That was the only good thing from this race where our hopes for a got GC spot was destroyed on stage one when both Lövkvist and Hoogerland lost time due to a crash.
We ended our season in Japan Cup but didn´t get any result Worth Writing home about.
To sum up the season a bit, it ended very bad for us and it looked like we would have a hard time staying above relegation places.¨
But the longer the season Went we started to get good result and climb more and more upwards in the rankings and ended on Place 17th with the same Points as Meiji - Cannondale, 16th.
So we ended in the middle of the table as we had expected and hoped for!
We look forward to the next season and all work that´s needs to be down Before that can start . |

Did we make our goals?
When the season it´s over it´s time to check if we could make our goals.
Our first goal was to make a top 5 Place in the Europe Tour Team Standings unfortunalety we couldn´t make it and ended on 6th Place 110 Points from making our goal.
Next goal was in a HC race, Criterium Hainleite where we hoped to get a top 5 Place. It ended in a massprint, that was not what we hoped for we had Hermans and Hoogerland here and wanted them to try something on those last hills but Giaux was our best guy with only a 20th Place, not good.
Time to Norway, Rogaland GP a win goal. We were closer here but couldn´t make this either. We had Kreder here for the sprint but with 20 kms left he was behind a split so it was up to Hermans and Lindgren and Hermans sprinted good and took the 4th Place.
Tallinn - Tartu GP was Another race for sprinters, win goal=fiasco.
Kreder was best but with a bad 16th Place.
Our last goal was at home, in Sweden. Scandinavia Open Road Race, top 5 was what we hope for here.
It was a stronger startlist then we first thought here.
But we was not very far away to get our top 5 goal here, Hoogerland took a 9th Place in this hilly race, a few meters behind the guy who came 6th. Hermans came 12th so a good race for us even if we didn´t make our goal.
To sum it up, failure. 0/5 goals completed.
Atleast we were Close to 3 goals. |

Transfer targets leaked?
One of Swedbank - PEABs staff members email has been hacked and there a list of possible targets in the transfer season has been found.
As we understand Koenigsegg team has sadly disappear from the cycling World to the next year since that was a Swedish team there is more then one interesting rider who will be set free.
The most interesting seems to be Alexander Wetterhall & Max Öste-Macdonald.
Fredrik Kessiakoff & Gustav Larsson doesn´t have a team clear for the next season and it would not be a wild guess to say that Swedbank will Think about giving them a contract.
In the email it also says that they have found some Young talents back home in Sweden but those guys have not decided yet if they want to put it all to be a cycling pro.
It has to be said that this is unconfirmed informations.
