Now that the Division 2 season is over, what are your thoughts on it?
I had a lot of fun putting my team together and also racing with it. My expectations for the team were low in the start because it was not that strong in the end we did get some good results and even manage to win the Tour of Maroc and 2 NC win at the end. The season was a lot of fun because except a few top riders anything could hapen during a race due to the small teams and the riders were about the same quality. I also learned a lot about how the Man-game works and know i need to put more time in it next season and also willing to do this.
And how would you improve the D2 experience for a 2013 season?
It was a good learning experience and i would not change to much. I think making the teams 6-8 riders each would get a better experience because then teams would need to be balanced more in the race with real one leader a team. And less strange things whould happend, altoug that added a lot of fun because anything could happen. Also encouraging people to write stuff in their team-page whould help or making some extra threads with added race reviews, so that all people like to post.
Why do you want to continue to be part of the management game?
Because I really liked controling a team an telling something about what happend during our race and seing how some riders do better then expectend and see them getting better on long term. Also the excitemend of wanting to know how your riders did against others is something I really whould like to experience again. Also I really like playing Managment games and doing this with a lot of motivated people is lot of fun. I also whould like to build on my team to see how far I can get with Scandinavian and some added East-European riders.
If you are selected, what are your plans for your team in the 2013 season?
The plan whould be to build on the scandinavian base of the team and trying to get one or even both of the Finnish top riders. Also maby some Swedish riders and Norwegian good riders i would try to get. This is planned for the near future, on the long run I would try to develop Scandinavian talents and get them to the top of the cycling world, till we are abble to win a big race with one of them prefarable with one from Finland. The main plan whould not change for me just keep building on those Scandinavian riders but because also results are needed and the top from there is small, we also could recruit some top riders from Eastern-Europe to get some results in the first seasons.
