Tour of Qatar Stage 2
This flat 130K stage is a sprinters delight, we don't have a great sprinter there but Lagliarini is in good shape and might be able to upset.
The day started off with an attack led by astanas Ivanov.
Boonen looks like he wants the win today.
The break was brought in just in time for the last intermediate sprint.
Elmiger took the sprint easily
Flickinger rode away from the peleton, they thought nothing of it untill 5 K to go when they started to chase hard
Horrible news for T-Mobile as the Yellow Jersey of Stefan Schreck fell in the last Kilometers.
He somehow held off the pack and took a great win
Folks something seems to be wrong in the export, i dunno it seems it was so filled up it wouldnt export enymore, fixed it now though, sorry:x |

Tour of Qatar Stage 3
Another short flat stage but we will be looking to get in a break and try to hold off the peleton.
I send Millar and Bertogliati in the break today, they are accompanied by a Agrutubel, Gerolsteiner and Chcolade Jacque riders.
Krauss took the first Intermediate sprint followed by Barbe and Millar.
The Agrutubel rider has dropped off the back fairly quickly and seems to be struggling.
Millar and Bertogliati has rode away and is starting to put the hammer down.
Bad news tho they were caught really easily and now AG2R is controlling the pack for their man J.Nazon.
The leadout trains start to form and our sprinter is in OK position.
Kemps killed the sprint passing Boonen(!!!) but it seems his leadout man is happier then him

Tour of Qatar Stage 4
It turns out Millar was sick yesterday after being checked out by the team doctor, he says he wants to tough it out today so we will let him.
Breakaway
I have sent Gil in with what seems to be a promising break with 6 other riders.
Intermediate sprint
Trenti took it easily and Gil settled for 5th.
Caught
The break was caught but Gil tried to make an attack but just was not strong enough and was very disappointed he wasnt able to make it.
Sprint
The leadout trains were very, very crowded today creating somewhat of a decent wheel for our sprinter, Tom Boonen.
Win
Elmiger had a dodgy run down the side and our man Pagliarini was able to follow Boonens wheel but wasn't able to make any real moves so just stayed on his wheel. Better than the past few sprints though.

He was in bad shape -30, and i'd much rather have him peak at TDF/Vuelta.

Tour of Qatar Stage 5
Come to find out Boonen is also under the weather with the flue, he said to the media this morning that he is sad he is not able to go all out in his favorite pre-season race.
Attack
We decided to stay out of the breaks today but that didn't stop these guys, who created a nice 5 man break, led by Jake Pill.
The break was brought in with 30 K still to go and no one really is controlling the field so it's a bit chaotic at the moment.
Sprint
Once again our sprinter is set up pretty far back but is on the the wheel of the rapid Pozzato.
Win
Boonen overcame his illness today to take the win but the talk right now is Saunier Duval rider Luciano Pagliarini who came through with a great sprint for 2nd.
