Brilliant reads Bala and a decent result from Duarte in Austria.

Id quite look to see Duarte attack at some point. By not feeling very good, is that just a bad form of the day or is he slightly injured?
Well, as it's the first race he has ridden for a couple of months, his form isn't at peak performance yet. In such shape, a -4 form of the day rules you out, basically.
But I hope that we'll see attacks from him for sure. We haven't seen him in perfect shape, so - Vuelta a Colombia! |

Now I've added a small greyish box in the right bottom corner of all race screens, to show the stage ranking top 3 and Fabio's placings. I hope it isn't too small. |

It would have been nice to have a quick recap on the opening stages of the race, and also: I presume that Duarte is now aiming for the KoM jersey?

Yeah, well. Maybe a recap would've been nice, but the routes weren't really worth much and the excitement was almost non-existing. Somehow Sanchez Pimienta has already earned a smashing 64 points - the KOM profiles of smaller races tend to be a little weird - and Fabio is nowhere near that with his 20 points. It wouldn't be realistic to aim for it, sad but true. What annoyes me the most is the position of the hardest slopes - never really close to the finish... |

Any suggestions on the reporting? How could I change it for the better? |

could you show the entire stage profile? showing just the climb makes me personally feel in the dark as to the stage. makes it hard to get excited about what can happen to Fabio if I have no idea if a climb follows or 100km of flat
other than that, good luck

Yeah, I think I should post the entire profile.
All in all, the Photoshop size I've used has become too limited for my reports.
No room for proper screens - or many of them, too - and no room for proper reports.
But should I alter it, so there would be more space?
Or would that make it too much?
I know that the two-thread system ruins the flow of comments, but I seem to need some inspiration.
One China update left before the main event, btw. |

in my personal opinion, since I like reading it all, text is never too much

Dont worry about the size, the longer the better. Im hoping for some good detailed reports in Colombia, and since its the main event, why not do a bit on all the stages, with perhaps less for the flat ones.

Instead of having just the one "page" from Photoshop, extend it to 2 to make the reports longer

But wouldn't you prefer if I reached season 2 a little quicker?
After all, Duarte's stats are still not up to the task...
Of course I'll post all the TT's and MO races - there are quite a bit... |

Comments on recent stages, Stage 7, nice tactics but shame that you pretty much stopped reporting with 2km to go, and on Stage 8, you forgot to change the stage results from the previous stage (And red just doesnt work on that background colour)

Hehe, no red was really a bad call. I'll make it white.
I liked the "move-into-front-duo-slipwind" act by Duarte on st. 7.
And whoops, the results are not correct in st. 8.
Thanks for the comments, SN. |
