Even on normal there is a 50/50% chance that i will not make top 5 if i had Kloden as lead rider (offcourse with best preperation etc.)
If i would go for your choice (kloden/giro) then i would be happy with anything better then 10th place(maybe stage win). And "focus" (yesss there's that word again) on de tour de France with brothers Schleck. (indeed possible to make fitness programm for Frank with peak at vuelta)
I know it will be difficult or perhaps impossible, but this was what I wanted. Winning the 3GT with different runners.
As expected Kiriyenka lost time in this mountain stage and I could resist one more hard stage with successive attacks by Scarponi and Kreuziger.
General Classification:
If you want, I do the summary of the next mountain stage

The Giro is very long my friend.. but offcourse you allready knew that
my approach is based on starting with teams that are a little less then Radioshack > i did Farnese vini in pcm12 patch 1.2 (pcmdaily expansion1.2)
(-long careers- in pcm 07 (can't remember lol),09(Rock racing) and 10 i played with Vacansoleil)
so for me it has always been: 1st year "focus" on 1 tour, and in the next years contract riders with (mountain) 79+ with atleast 1 helper on (mountain) 77+ , then for Giro,Tour, Vuelta i made three pairs.
If i do not have the 79+ guy or no helper for the guy then i return to my primary tactic "to focus one 1 tour" , just to make sure i get the much needed win every year.
In your case with radioshack you can gamble in giro and vuelta, cause with the brothers Schleck offcourse it's almost a certainty that they will provide you enough money to survive the year.

Normal is actually pretty easy, even for a begginer (after a few stages and a good understanding of the mechanics). Like I've read before, you can win TdF with Jose Serpa lol. 3 GT with same rider in normal is easy, with different riders may be even more so. I'd suggest you should play on hard right away because you won't be learning much on normal that will work on har (; |

Stage 15 of Giro
Summary from the last 20Km.
The fugitives are caught and the real fight begins on the last climb.
The 7km from the end, Cunego launches a brutal attack. Klöden counters.
Then use my trump card and attack missing 5km. With counterattack byUran, Kreuziger tries, but can not follow.
The sprint goes to the rider of Sky, awesome 2nd place to Kloden.
Classification of the stage 15, I gained 22 seconds at least.
General: now the gap is in more than 2 minutes.

Actually, that stage is giving problems. Check Valverde story to confirm that. Lampre made 1-2-3 with climbers beating sprinters.
Yeah, it's weird. I've played this stage several times to check this:
First time, Ferrari won in a proper sprint except that he and I were the only ones sprinting.
Second time, I got 1-2. 1 with a breakaway at 3km and 2 in a sprint against climbers.
Third time, I got 1-2-3 by sprinting very early with three average sprinters.
The problem is that no one is keeping the pace high. Also, all sprinters come to the front, but drop back again.

Looks like Kloden is gonna win that Giro for you...I got to say i'm a little disappointed in Hesjedal, Scarponi ( is he even in your Giro lol) , Nibali and Basso.
Nibali probably going for tour...?
and this is year 1 right ? so Uran and Quintana are not that good yet ?

I was getting close to Giro in my career -I'm riding with Team type 1 ( yes the most ugly shirt i could find out there lol so i won't be disappointed when going for a new sponser next year, whatever shirt that's gonna be)
But i didn't get an invite unfortunatly
So my focus gonna be on Tour de France. ( i edit 1 rider in my team to an old (age33) fantasy rider with stats on the level of Anton. Just to give myself an interesting year 1. Cause geees Team Type 1 is pretty bad hahaha
Uran and Quintana are good, but not enought to top 10 for now I think. Yes is year 1.
It's not over yet, stage 17 is the hardest stage in my opinion. Almost inevitably lose time.
Nibali was actually the favorite to win Giro for me, lost a lot of time in the TT and in the early stages. The same happened with Cunego and Froome.
Do u have a story KayZeroX ? I would like to follow

STAGE 17 of Giro de Italia
At the entrance of the penultimate climb I put my riders at he front.
On the last climb, the party started. Attack by Gadret.
The Gendt counterattacks, I have to stay on his wheel
New attempt by The Gendt, trying to catch Gadret.
I managed to resist the attack once more, but I was clearly in trouble, since Garzelli comes out in final attack.
Basso, Kreuziger and Uran are left behind. I try to follow but had no more strength.
At the end, lost about 1 minute to Thomas The Gendt. It could have been much worse if I had not had this day +5.
General Classification with 2 mountain stages to missing.
Like I said before, tough stage this one. Let's see if I hang on !

STAGE 19 GIRO DE ITALIA
Lost Leadership
This stage was maybe the most dificulty I ever played. This one is very easy to resume. 1st attack by The Gendt.
I caught him at the entrance of the final 10km, which would be very hard.
Already exhausted and without teammates, I could not resist another attack.
I lost about 3 minutes to The Gendt, becoming the leader of the race. Still, I'm only 1 minute behind.
Next stage I have to steal some time, because I think in the TT I have some advantage.

STAGE 20 GIRO DE ITALIA
It was not enough.
Last climb, the last 20 km. Frightening mountain.
Last 5Km, The Gendt, looks very confortable.
After a failed attack, go to the sprint where Gadret is the strongest.
5th place on the stage and a further 12 seconds ahead for The Gendt.
General:
I have an almost impossible task in TT

STAGE 21 GIRO DE ITALIA
Great ending.
Kloden will retire end of this year.
In this last stage, Klöden wanted to leave with his first victory in Giro and this TT leaves no room for doubt.
Only 31 seconds behind. Great result.
Points jersey
Giro is over. Conclusions (only about Kloden):
-2nd place
-14 days as a leader
-4 stages at the podium. 1 stage won (the last one)
-1st on Points jersey
Was it bad?
P.S.->You can close the topic, since Giro is over.... |

Just put the links of the images below each other.
Above you can write the description, so I can not understand the story.
Delete the previous posts and make a new one.
By the way, you should create a thread about it here:

Perhaps a mod/admin can change this to PCM12: Stories, and you can change the title to RadioShack - Nissan Trek | 2012, or something like that? Because this is turning into a nice story!
And KeyZeroX, you should start a story too!

Upload it to Photobucket, or something like that.
Then you can copy the link to it in your post
