Young sprinters like Degenkolb, Kittel are good, but the wage is a bit big for them too, but Degenkolb has (I think) 15,700£. He is good. Winning tdf is in the matter of, what team are you using? |

A quick help. About the fatigue: in previous PCM games you can't reduce fatigue of a rider. That's why it is so important not to use exhausting fitness calendars. However, if I'm not mistaken I read something in this forum about level 1 training programs and Rest camps (I forgot the proper name) reducing fatigue a little bit; I don't know.
To position your riders in the peloton you can use either dot or relay (don't use relay if the peloton is rolling too fast, because your riders will fatigue a lot). I don't use hotkeys, but you can access them by pressing Space bar and going to the last menu.
Training camps don't increase your attributes permanently, just for a few time (a couple of weeks or so). Most people consider that a cheat, tho, because the AI doesn't use training camps. Additionally, you get too unrealistic results by using them due to the huge boost to your stats.
Nevertheless, I suggest you to use the search function in the forum, review PCM12 and PCM11 threads (the gameplay has been almost identical for the last few versions of the game) and to read the Tips and tricks section of the page. Most of your questions have already been fully answered.

Well... the same as in other flat stages.
I guess you can find enough guides here:

It is not possible to maintain fitness and reduce fatigue, so the above post does not answer the questions of samcoolguy23.
Training camps will increase the stats of a rider, which can be compared to doping because it is a temporary effect. But it neither does increase the fitness nor reduce the fatigue.
The only way to maintain training fitness is by applying high levels of fitness training. Then only way to maintain race fitness it to race races but this is not a big deal for the GT races because your riders will gain enough fitness during the first week of the race.
The only way to reduce fatigue is to wait until the next season. (It is possible to reduce the fatigue a little by reducing the training to level 1 and send your rider to a recreation camp, but that would drastically reduce his fitness, so this is no option in my eyes). |

You can set the training level in the fitness schedules. Level 1 would be the lowest level.
You cannot increase the maximum fitness. The maximum training fitness will drop if your rider is over the fatigue threshold. The maximum race fitness will drop one point for every two race days after your rider reached 60 race days.
This will be reset for the next season and not earlier. You have to plan wisely and not use too harsh fitness schedules. There is an evaluation button on the fitness schedules to see what effect the training has on the fatigue.
Searching for sponsors costs a weekly fee but you can search for as many as you like. |
