Look fine so far, everything important in it (except for the profile but you thought of that already ). It's a very nice read, I like the small humerous elements a lot!
@Cunego and Ian:
Thanks, good to see that 2 great storywriters think it's ok.
Tour of San Luis stage 2
Today's stage will not be pan flat, it will have a mountain sprint, we will send one of our riders in a better form, also Ginanni has to improve his position in the sprint.
At the start of the race we tried to put Donati in the break, but thanks to Barbot's sprinter they were not allowed to go.
It took a long time and many attacks until riders got clear, they were, Miholjevic and Bérard.
Miholjevic sets off.
Bérard tries to bridge the gap.
Vlad clearly aimed for our first jersey and was pedalling very fast, he suceeded in dropping the Frenchman and even held an advantage of 5 minutes!
I tought it will be OK, but Saur jumped to the lead and started to ride like madmen
Saur riding like madmen.
The lead of Miholjevic shrunk to under 2 minutes after the 10 KM gate.
Can he do it?
As the trains lined up and turned to the final stretch, they can see the fully empty Vladimir.
Flamme Rouge!
But he held out! Our first win of the season!
(Actually, my first win from a solo break on hard)
The peloton came only 48' behind, with Ginanni in 3rd.

I'm happy that the racing is going much better than I expected, but I will be this slow with reports, as there are more important things in life than gaming (Women have 2 of them)
Spoiler
Of course, those beautiful eyes.
Thanks for following

@all: thanks for the replies. @pcm2009fan and Ian: Yeah, racing is well, but havent heard about boss for some time, I have no idea what's happening 'behind the scenes'. @Fernando and sutty: Thanks, it might take a lot to get another. @Dienblad:
I have to start with a confession, I forgot to save the replay of stage 3 and 4 (that means only rhose photos I took during the race), so today there will be those 2 reports with S5-6-7 coming tomorrow as I will be having a lot time. (Whole lot of rain expected here)
But now: Tour of San Luis stage 3
This might be a hard stage, as there is an uphill finish. With GC victory is possible, we will not be aiming for a stage win, both Ginanni and Di Luca will protect Vlad.
At the start there were some escapees, namely: Fumiyuki Beppu
Raúl Alarcón
Rubens Bertogliati
Omar Lombardi
Iván Gutiérrez
Rony Martias
Ángel Vicioso
They held a maximum advantage of 4 minutes, before we chased them down with help from Sky and Saur, their men are looking strong, especially Simon and Nordhaug. I also think that we have to look out for Colombians...
Basically nothing happened until 8KMs were left, then Alexander Kvachuk tried his luck and stayed out until 3 to go, there Nordhaug attacked and Moreno countered. Vlad stayed in front with Di Luca launching him after he set the pace for him.
We knew that Vlad won't be able to win, so he stayed behind Gadret in the sprint before unleashing himself in the last 500m.
At the end, it wasn't enough and the Moreno-Nordhaug tandem got 20s on the 3rd placed Miholjevic
Vladimir retained his lead, and thanks to his awsome form, there won't be any problems in the TT, but we'll have to look out in Stage 5.
Stage 4 was a timetrial, I forgot that I have to take photos, so there will be none, but two from the podiums.
Flat TT, we have to memorize the course and work out a tactic for Vlad.
We conted with a maximum loss of 15 sec to Lars.
The early time to beat was set by backmarker Filipe Cardoso, his time, 28'18" stood until Ivan Gutierrez did 28'09"'.
Only 3 riders after him, came well known TT specialist Svein Tuft and stormed through the course at 27'35" his time is certianly the one to beat.
Some riders after Tuft, Bruseghin and Kiriyenka posted good times and got lined up 11 and 20 seconds behind the Canadian.
Moreno did a disappointing 28'29", he is out of contention.
Nordhaug raced very well and crossed the line at 27'58".
Now, it's all up to Miholjevic, his goal is to get at least 28'13"
Spoiler
And he succeeds, he came across the line at 28'10"!

So, that's it for today, thanks for following
Edited by bouyguesfan on 13-09-2012 16:21
I have just arrived back to the hotel, when I saw Mr. Di Paolo and his henchmen coming, they looked muddy or...
Anyway, I noticed that only one car came back from the initial convoy of 4.
He came towards me and said: It was a ambush, kid we we are in huge trouble if we don't win here.
May I ask you kindly, why?
Don't ask questions you don't want to know the awnsers to. But be aware that the organisers will be against us from now on.
So that makes me expect hard times, mostly because this stage seems hard, and the stage after today is the only one we can gain time on, thanks to the descent at the end.
Tour of San Luis Stage 5
Today, we expected no potent attacks, but we were ready to chase down anything.
The first attack of the day came early on, as Katusha tried to place a rider in it, we chased it down with help from AG2R.
The next break seemed okay to go, with Vandewalle as the strongest rider.
The break, strolling down the contryside.
They never had an advantage over 4 minutes and soon, just as we expected, Sky and Saur took over with leading the peloton.
Working for Simon?
All the escapees were caught with 9 to go, thanks to these 2 teams and Katusha.
As the riders passed 5KM mark, Simon attacked!
Simon attacks
We overestimated this attack, as Simon was not that fast, but then Moreno jumped out of the Katusha train.
With the final climb getting in sight Di Luca led outMiholjevic's attack.
But when the riders started to climb, Miholjevic was easily outpowered by Bonnafond.
Guillaume going for the win.
Then all of a sudden the Norwegian unleashed himself, quickly left Miholjevic in the dust and caught up to the Frenchman.
And he made an impressive finish, Lars Petter Nordhaug gets his 2nd stage win.
As it was explained to me before the stage the organisers will do things in Sky's favor. Yep, that's a 38 second gap!
I forgot to export get the results, because we had to leave quickly, I have seen some suspicious faces.

Yes, Sky is leading all of them, I might ask the Don wether he knows something.
Guys, that's it now, maybe the closing stages will be up later today, but if I set a deadline for myself, ignore it. I probably won't get it done by then
Thanks for following

@Ian and Sutty: Will be hard, but nooby downhill attacks are my friends
Also, the Don was not really happy when I asked about an PT team's morals... @Dienblad: I'm sure, that you hate them aswell as I do.

Looks like a very hard stage, here we will try to drain the energy of the peloton, on the hardest mountain of the race, then Vlad try a well protected attack on the downhill.
We set a hard pace right from the start, but I decided to attack with Di Luca, to have a man in the front for Miholjevic; he got help from Sérgio Ribeiro.
The duo facing the climb.
On the way up, Danilo managed to drop the Portugese and as he looked back from the top, he could see the peloton 2 minutes back, led by us.
View from the top of the race.
This lead should be reduced to 1 minute or 1'15" for Vladimir to easily bridge that gap with the help of his, now, domestiques.
We proceeded to close on to Di Luca, now time has come!
Miholjevic attacks with the help of Ginanni and (not pictured somehow) Donati.
As the attack happened from like 11 KMs off the finish, there were nothing, but Sky closing the gap in the peloton.
Because of the gret work by his 3 helpers, Miholjevic was just able to hold on going into the last kiilometre.
Aaand he does it again!
No time gaps today, and even Nordhaug managed to sprint into the 3rd place, looks like Vlad is not the only one who is in great form...

10 seconds... That means if we take both intermediate sprints, we have won the race, that will be easy, because not only in hard, even in extreme, high pace+attack before is a winning tactic.
Thanks for following.
