Stats.. What do they mean?

Many years ago at the january training camp when he was starting off as a pro, the all powerful ONCE team was climbing a mountain.

Top riders like Olano, Igor, Beloki, Sastre, suffering up the climb
At that point, the 20 year old neo-pro rides past them with ridiculous ease while mimicking smoking a cigar (or a "Purito" in spanish).

Igor said "Who the f*** is this guy?" and the nickname stuck. Purito to this day.

That comes from an episode while training with the ONCE team years ago. He was climbing with some of the leaders of the team at the time (like Jalabert), left them behind and made the gesture -as a joke - of smoking a cigar (purito in spanish) pretending that he was winning them effortlessly. They gave him the nickname after that :-)
