Giro is almost confirmed to have 2 ITTs, with road stage finishes on the Gavia and Galibier.
Seeming like a non-climbers' route. I guess that's what you get when Wiggins personally tells Acquarone he wants to win the Giro
Giro should be for climbers. Climbers will take Gc and Points jersey.
Zomegan was mad..but I realy miss him. They will ___ up my favorite GT |

Italian Federation decided that Italy NT Selection for the Worlds won't include:
- any rider who had a previous doping-related ban (as for Olympics)
- and also any rider involved in any current doping-related investigation.
that means no cunego, ballan, gasparotto and visconti.

I like that initiative a lot. Sweden has the same rules.
Other nations should watch and learn.

Whilst I believe a majority still dopes nowadays (and that the percentage of cheaters is even bigger among the strongest riders), it's not what this is about. It's about having sentenced a suspension for doping, or being currently investigated for doping-related matters. |

Team Type 1 obviously plans to have only diabetics next season.
Other riders like Preidler are supposed to look for a new team and is rumoured to go to Bretagne-Schuller.
I suppose that is right seeing that they want to raise awareness to the condition |

I can't see him staying with guys like Rodriguez and Gilbert over the Cauberg. I doubt Phil will accept helping him instead of leading.

Contador saying the best possible thing he could've said to get the UCI desperate to scrap the "Doper points don't count" rule.
"If the points count I'll ride in Beijing. If they don't I won't"
The preceding post is ISSO 9001 certified
"I love him, I think he's great. He's transformed the sport in so many ways. Every person in cycling has benefitted from Lance Armstrong, perhaps not financially but in some sense" - Bradley Wiggins on Lance Armstrong

The worse is that they probably will do it. That's how pathetic the UCI is.

I'd even go as far as to say that it's very unlikely that they wont change the rule. They'll do anything to make these ridiculous Chinese races popular.

Get your priorities right, UCI!
No, I think it's a hard decision for them to make, and we can't really blame them for making one decision or the other. On the one hand they're trying to fight doping, which is incredibly hard, on the other hand they're trying to make cycling more world-wide, and that ain't easy, too! |

Rumours that NetApp and Endura will fusion seem to be true. Ralph Denk said that the team is supposed to ride under the name NetApp-Endura. I guess they will stay in the PCT.
In other news Andy Schleck now won`t start at the GP Fourmies after he still feels some pain. He said that there is no sense in starting a race where you won`t finish. Yeah, that`s the winner mentality we know from him. |

Wouldn't surprise me. Perhaps not the Tour, but I can see his next race being Amstel Gold Race 2013. With his attitude towards racing, it wouldn't be any shock.

He'll probably ride something before that, but if you mean "race" as in putting an effort to get a result, then probably yes, we'll see him next in AGR 2013.

Yeah, I meant the next race we may see him in decent shape. Obviously he'll need some preparation races before that.
Although after seeing him in the Ardennes this year, my expectations wont be too high on him in 2013.

I have the really small hope that he has some professional pride and tries to do a decent season (proper season, not Schleckseason) next year.
Yeah, yeah, long shot.
