This seems to be a great project. It's just bad it's not a couple of years later, because then we could try to win the Tour with Joaquim Agostinho, the best portuguese rider ever.
His story is amazing:
"It was his captain during the war in Mozambique who discovered him. When he carried messages on a heavy bike, he took two hours to ride 50km when the others took five."
"Out for a ride as a youth, he encountered Sporting Clube de Portugal's cycling team on a road near Casalinhos de Alfaiata - Torres Vedras. He began an impromptu race; the team could not catch him, even though Agostinho was riding a standard steel bicycle."
Eddy Merckx said in 1969, the year when he and Agostinho made their debuts in the Tour de France, that Agostinho was the rival who worried him most, indeed the only rival who had worried him at all."
Later he won the Alpe D'Huez and finished 3rd for 2 times in Tour and died after the last stage of a Volta ao Algarve after hitting a dog. He won that Volta |

No, but he does need higher endurance, resistance, flat and fighter I think. In '68 he was dominating the classics.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

but note that maximum note in the db will be 80, that's why he have these notes |

Unfortuntely, I was not able to work on it since end of January (missing of time)
Mig and myself are thinking to update it on next PCM 2013 (as it seems there will be not graphical huge changes)
Keep you update for this, we were close to a beta version, so it will be shamed to stop this project |

I hope so ! but still a lot a work to do ! and I'm alone on this project (Mig has done all the notes for cylist, a huge job)
If on next week I got times to work on it, well maybe a beta will be out, but I'm not sure about it
And the best historical db ever is the 1991 one, can not do better than this |
