Unsure if he can cope with Contador on his own, or if he'll end up like one of those sidekicks beaten to death by the villain.
Looking forward to seeing it anyway.
Contador is no villain, he is Batman, with his own set of rules.
On the other hand Froome is bit of a Joker...

Chris Anker Sorensen doesn't need a finger surgery, so he can join Contador in La Vuelta. Source: Spoiler https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/no-surgery-needed-for-chris-anker-sorensen

Good for Sörensen. It's really good to see Saxobank at fullswing at Vuelta to help Contador. |

That makes Kreuziger season kinda shitty (ok he had a stage win in the Giro and 3rd place in Tirreno)

Kessiakoff is the leader and gets supported by Andrey Kashechkin, Paolo Tiralongo and Kevin Seeldraeyers. Noticable is the absence of Kreuziger, who was on the provisional start list.

That would be strange, maybe Fuglsang-like punishment for leaving the team? Or he wants to focus on worlds, as he is maybe better for one day races.

Knowing Astana, I think it's the first.
They won't let him score any points if he's leaving next season.

With this points system for the World Tour, it wouldn't surprise me if that's why Astana are leaving Kreuziger out. This could well become a feature over many years.
System needs changing imo.

UCI tried to take control of the Lance Armstrong doping case. USADA denied them.

Have they already forgot the Giro. They need to give Tirralongo a chance.

"Can we please take control of the case so that it doesn't come public that we covered him ? Pretty please ?"
Good job by USADA. |

I'm biased, but Kessiakoff is always at his best in the fall and he's allready showed some good form. I think he could do a good result in the Vuelta if he keeps healthy (got ill last vuelta after a good start). And by good result i mean somewhere around 10th in GC and maybe a stage, i'm not delirious |

I like Kessiakoff but I think he will be swamped by the sea of top names to be honest... I wouldn't put a stage past him though, sure. |

He was clearly stronger then Kreuziger at least first half at Giro...then he somehow stoped riding as Team leader |

I've been away for some weeks. Is Andy Schleck still riding the Vuelta or will he be unable to ride? |

Then it's Contador against Froome |
