Stage 3
After yesterday’s stage we are hoping to win again today. It is the last flat stage and we are hoping to win 2 in a row.
The Race
Simon Clarke is the first rider to attack out of the peloton.
After almost 30km of racing Clarke was already 2 minutes ahead.
About 20km later Clarke was joined by 10 other riders. They were 1.56 ahead of the peloton.
At the first sprint point of the day Clarke managed to out sprint Viviani and Rasmussen to take the points. The leading group of 12 was 7 minutes ahead.
With 95km to go the leading group was 8.40 ahead of the peloton being lead by BMC and Movistar.
At the 2nd and last sprint of the day Venmarcke won ahead of Rasmussen and Mortenson. Clarke came in 5th. The leading group was now only 3.27 ahead of the peloton now being lead by Fdj Bigmat.
At the bottom of the last climb (27.5km to go) the leading group had 2.47 on the peloton.
At the start of the climb I got on the front to start breaking up the peloton.
At the mountain sprint Venmarcke to the points ahead of Clarke and Elmiger. The peloton, being lead by me, is now only 1.04 behind.
With 19km to go Froome attacked.
With 7km to go we had a leadout set up for EBH. I am 2nd from the front. Behind Millar and Phinney is the 2nd last rider.
With 1km to go EBH was leading and in 2nd was Millar. Hushovd has just started his sprint in the WC jersey.
EBH takes his 2nd win in a row with a great show of strength. Millar has a great sprint and takes 3rd by the tiniest margin. I finished in the pack
about 30th.

Stage 4
Today is the first hill stage. I want to stay with the other favorites and get a good placing at the end.
The Race
Nordhaug was the first attack to go. He quickly got a gap of 1.04.
After the first mountain sprint Nordhaug had 1.50 on Levarlet and 5.54 ahead of the peloton.
At the 2nd mountain sprint the gap to the peloton is 9.37. Nordhaug is 2.33 ahead of E2 which is Levarlet.
At the first intermediate sprint Nordhaug was 2.06 ahead of Levarlet and 8.54 ahead of the peloton.
With 77km to go the peloton was 9.21 behind Nordhaug and 7.02 behind Levarlet. It is going to be close at the end.
With 41km to go Nordhaug wins another mountain sprint and is firmly in the lead. He is 3.17 ahead of Levarlet and 5 minutes ahead of the peloton.
With 14km to go the team had a leadout for EBH.
With 10km to go I attacked following Vonsummeran.
Nordhaug is caught with 3km to go just as Phinney is starting the leadout
With 1km to go EBH was in the lead and on his way to a third win in a row.
He celebrates with 400m to go because of another fantastic win.
Rojas Gil takes 2nd ahead of Leonardo Duque

Stage 5
Another hill stage before a TT and mountain stage. We are hoping to stay in the overall for the TT. I want to stay with the leading group and maybe go for the win.
The Race
With 161km to go there was no breakaway just Millar and Phinney on the front. Over the first mountain sprint Millar takes it ahead of Phinney and Van Garderan.
At the first intermediate sprint Phinney won ahead of Millar and Fischer. Still no breakaway.
Millar was on the front on the big mountain of the day and shredded the peloton. The leading group of 7 consisted of; Millar, EBH, Nordhaug, Van Garderan, Larsson, Van Avermaet and Me. Froome was in the group but I told him to drop back to the peloton.
Over the mountain sprint Millar won ahead of EBH and Nordhaug. Millar shredded the peloton to bits and there is now just over 30 riders in the peloton.
Over the third mountain sprint and the smallest, Van Avermaet attacked and took the points ahead of Millar and EBH. Van Avermaet got caught about 200m after the sprint.
Millar won the 2nd and last intermediate sprint ahead of EBH and Nordhaug.
Van Avermaet won the 4th mountain sprint ahead of EBH and Nordhaug. Millar pulled of about 1km ago.
Another mountain sprint and this time EBH won ahead of Nordhaug and Me.
With 13km to go Gesink attacked so I followed closely behind.
With 10km to go I was so tired that Radioshack had broke up the field and I was in a group of 7 behind the Radioshack trio.
The Radioshack group caught up to Gesink making a leading group of 4; Gesink, Monfort, Gerdemann and Anton. Popovych was 18 seconds behind. My group was 1.07 behind the leading group.
Anton won ahead of Gerdemann and Gesink. I finished in the top 15 in
11th.

But Jakstar, I know how it feels if there are few or no comments, I had that with my KLM story (probably before you were here on the forum), and eventually it made me stop the story. Doing stories takes a lot of motivation, and when that motivation is gone, it just doesn't work anymore

The amount of views says more than the replies..... (hey, I'm very close to get 100.000 views to my story, so I can say that!
Your story is nice, but a few comments:
- Show us the stage profile at the start of a report.
- It isn't necessary to show podiums screen of every ranking. I did that in the beginning of my story, but it takes a lot of time.
- Good luck continuing it!

Thanks for the tips dienblad I will start doing the profiles after Paris-nice as I have already finished the race. I will also pot the winner after every stage and no other ranking and see how that works for me.
Thanks for the tips

Stage 6
Today is a 27km TT. Myself and Millar the favorites but I am hoping to come out on top and get time back before the mountain stage.
The Race
Accidentally simulated the stage. I wasn't concentrating. Anyway, Zebriskie had a great TT beating out Millar by 16 seconds. Gerdemann came in 3rd and took over the overall lead. I came in 11th and moved into 7th overall. Radioshack has the top 3 overall with Gerdemann leading ahead of Popovych and Monfort.

Stage 7
The mountain stage and the maybe the deciding stage. I need to pull of something special if I want to win overall. I am a favorite in this stage along with Anton and Gesink.
The Race
The first attack came from Dave Millar.
Radioshack got on the front trying to bring back the break even though there is still 206km to go.
I am under the protection of my main man Chris Froome.
Millar is joined by Swift with just under 200km to go.
Then a group of 5 was formed at the front containing Millar, Vandevelde, Swift, Roy, and Joly.
Millar wins the first intermediate sprint ahead of Swift and Roy.
Millar won the mountain sprint ahead of Vanendert and Joly. The leading group of 14 is 1.43 ahead of the peloton.
Millar wins the next Mountain sprint ahead of Sicard and Roy. Next up is the big mountain.
With about 10km to go till the mountain the team got on the front Phinney is leading with EBH behind him. I am last in the train with Froome in front of me.
At the start of the climb Phinney pulls of and EBH starts his turn.
With 6km to go the top of the first large climb the break is caught.
At the top of the first big mountain EBH was on the front. He won ahead of Froome and Me.
Froome won the mountain sprint ahead of Me and Popovych.
With 72km to go there was only 58 riders left in the peloton.
Boasson Hagen wins the last mountain sprint ahead of Me and Kloden.
I attacked with 28km to go along with Anton.
I got caught about 1km later and I will now wait for the sprint.
Linus Gerdamann was out front by himself so Riblon attacked and 5 of us followed.
With 13km to go Sanchez was leading the peloton by 33 seconds.
A group of 4 riders formed out front featuring Gerdemann (Overall Leader), L.L Sanchez, Hivert and Anton.
In the last 7km the peloton was shredding to bits. I am still with the overall leader. Sanchez is still out front but Zebriskie is now out there with him.
With 700m to go Zebriskie was out front but can he hold of the charging peloton?
Yes he can! Great show of strength by the American. He won ahead of the Belgium Monfort and Spanish Txurruka.
I finished safely in the peloton about mid field.

Sponsor News
The teams bike sponsor Raleigh have told us that we are not getting the results they wanted us to achieve. They told us that they will be leaving the team after the Criterium du Dauphine. We had already been in talks with my old team's bike sponsor Pinarello. They said that they would sponsor the team just because I rode for them. After this we old Castelli to get to work on a new jersey and this is what the came up with,
This will be our jersey from the Dauphine onwards until the end of 2013. I will give an overview of Pinarello after the Dauphine as I have ages after that because there is no Tour de France for the team.
Thanks for your time
