im making a historical db with the portuguese community help, it's a 9 riders for team db with the 20 top teams from the last years, there wil be riders like Armstrong,Basso,Ulrrich,BelokiIndurain,Pantani etc....
it wil be named pcm-portugal historic db, were stil in the beggining |

If I have understood Nicholas right the database he is making will not be finished. In a few days he will realease it, but just with the PT teams soo you can play a GT if you want, but not a season. We hope that he maybe will continue the prosjekt, but that can take some time. :cry: |

Yeah, thats right Willi. I dondt got motivation to do a whole 04 db with around 50 teams, i was struggeling with finishing the last TdF teams. But now im finished woth them, i got their jerseys and, and TdF 04 stages. So i will trie to release a TdF 04 db. |

With reference to the historical db mentioned in page 1 of this thread, soon the final version will be available. In first days of november it will be released.
In this site is already available the "beta version" of this pack in the download section, named "All-time historical database 0.99". Unfortunately the beta version contains a bug that causes game crash at June 30th in career mode, due to the fact that for some nations there are not enough riders for national championship. This bug, and other minor problems, will be fixed in final version

Version 1.00 of "all-time historical database" is now available at this link

Bugs fixed (from version 0.99)
- fixed a major bug that caused crash game at June 30th in career mode. It was related to a poor number of riders from some nations. New riders for those nations have been added and the bug has been fixed
- fixed a minor bug with some riders placed in db two times
- fixed a minor bug related to minishirt of Molteni and Flandria, that were not shown in correct way.
- modified some parameters of free riders, in order to avoid that they could become too strong.
- corrected a typing error for a team name (Reanult instead of Renault)
I hope you could enjoy this work.
Installation: download the file and unpack.
place the file "storico.cdb" in the directory "documents/Pro Cycling Manager 2007/database"
Unpack the file "maglie.rar" and place the files obtained in the directory "C:\ xxxxxxx\Pro Cycling Manager 2007\CM_Textures\cycliste\team" where xxxxxx is the directory you ha ve installed the game in
Unpack the file "minimaillot.rar" and place the files obtained in the directory "C:\ xxxxxxx\Pro Cycling Manager 2007\gui\team_shirt"
Unpack the file "foto.rar" and place the files obtained in the directory "C:\ xxxxxxx\Pro Cycling Manager 2007\gui\cyclist photo"
Unpack the file "loghi.rar" and place the files obtained in the directory "C:\ xxxxxxx\Pro Cycling Manager 2007\gui\team\logo"

(first time actually adding a db, and it went badly, but now everything that could've possibly gone wrong, has gone wrong, i should get it right next time but i got it working anyway)
