And exactly when your riders all crash, my riders will have been right behind them and get taken out....

I wouldn't be suprised if a breakaway managed to stay away.

I have never experienced a break staying away in a cobble classics and I've had my share of those, so I seriously doubt that it's going to happen.

Andy has a point. I've never seen a break-away without a main candidate in it reach the line first. |

You never know though, without the likes of QuickStep and other 'big' teams, chasing might be harder.

I haven't raced a cobbled classic with a break winning, but I've simulated one. One of the small classics. It's pretty rare, but this season have had some pretty big suprises. But it will probably not happen.

I said Hammond would win KBK, he wins Het Volk instead. And i can't believe the Hoste lost, he seemed like the odds on favorite to sweep the cobbles.

Its all very well having the best Cobbles stat, but if you cant get rid of better sprinters than you then youre not going to win
Besides, it was always impossible for Hoste to sweep the cobbles, since he's not riding the E3 Prijs Harelbeke.

Rankings
Roger Hammond moves into the top 10 as teammate Caper remains the leader. Hammond could take that lead tomorrow, should he win Kuurne-Bruxelles-Kuurne. 2nd for Mattan lifts him to 16th, while 5th for Franzoi puts him 31st - he is the most consistent performer in the one day classics, being the only rider to score points in both. 215 riders have now scored points.
1 Jimmy Casper FRA Letua 194
2 Bobbie Traksel NED Designa Kokken 183
3 Fabian Wegmann GER Tinkoff Credit Systems 172

Tinkoff remain the leaders, although Agritubel gained 2 points on the Russian squad. Agritubel remain 3rd but are now in the promotion zone as it is Letua who have leaped from 5th to 2nd due to their strong performance, dropping Designa Kokken to 4th. DFL move into 5th thanks to Nico Mattan and are just 45 points away from the promotion zone. Meirhaeghe's 4th place lifts Landbouwkredit above Benfica and Panaria into 12th. Maxbo Bianchi and Slipstream's failure to score means there are now just 5 teams left who have scored in every race: Tinkoff, Agritubel, Designa Kokken, DFL and Marco Polo.
