Stage 7
They are here! The mountains are here! This is what we've been waiting for. At last Vino and Brajko can enter the race! or at least Brajko for this first mountain stage.. Vino is not going out today, maybe tommorow and then a relaxing Time Trial...
The morning break was formed very quickly by a very aggressive Fredrik Kessiakoff he opened the day and 7 others went with him; D. Caruso, B. Feillu, N. Vogondy, J. Degenkolb, R. Pauriol, C. Le Mevel and V. Gusev.. A strong break with a lot of good riders!
Sagan takes the last few points left for the peloton at the Isprint...
now the break is closing in on the first "mountain" of the day, a catogory 3 climb with 2 points on the top.
With a lead of 8 mins the peloton starts their job.. Today we got BMC and Saxo in front.
Kessiakoff is going for Polka dots today and he snatches the 2 first points, but still it is unlikely they will go all the way!
Kessiakoff is feeling strong today and is trying to go alone! He has a minute on the other breakers with 36 km to go and 3'45 to the peloton!
With 20 km to go he has 30 seconds to the other breakers and 4'15 to the peloton! Can he hold his pace?
He is caught by the other breakers with 15 km to go, and he will now take the back of the break and try to get som power and momentum to try again..
At the same time Nibali and Samuel Sanchez tries to go from the peloton and Brajkovic is right on their back!
The others sit down again but Brajkovic dos not stop and tries on his own, only De gendt and Peraud follows!
As they hit the final climb Brajkovic got 1 min to the peloton and is catching up with the breakers!! 7 km to go!
Brajkovic is caught with 2 km to go, F. Schleck in front Contador chasing him!
But the strong man today is F. Schleck! he went all the way..
F.Schleck and A. Contador finish with a 17 second lead over the peloton 1 second to little for Contador to capture the yellow jersey!
I think the team rode great today, Kessiakoff in the morning break doing his bit and trying to go alone himself and Brajkovic attempt on the last climb! We definitely showed the team colours today and thats was great.. Brajkovic is still only 47 seconds after Wiggins.
Stage top 5
Spoiler 1. Fränk Schleck 4h59'49
2. Alberto Contador
3. Andy Schleck +17

*() todays stage
The race is forming out quit well and is setting up to be an extremely exiting race!
Sadly we had to say goodbye to Patrick Gretsch who performed well on the prologue! He went down on one of the last decents and broke his collarbone, he finished the stage but want be racing tomorrow

Stage 8
A day with a fair amount of mountain points and we will try to send Vinokourov out to fetch them and get him in that wanted jersey! I think with his form and will to get the jersey he will take the jersey today and maybe keep it all the way to Paris!
Brajkovic will anticipate the other favourites and take it as it comes, Kiserlovski will do his best to protect him..
And Vinokourov is off, he is alone in the front with some other breakers chasing him.. Vino strikes a pair of wonder legs at the right time!!!
As they hit the first climb:
Vino takes the first point of the day.
The peloton has taken its foot of the gas and he continious to widen the gap to the other breakers. he has got 5 min to the peloton!
8 minutes is the gap with 80 km to go, but now the peloton has uppened the pace.. At the same time Vino is in the provisional mountain jersey!
With 65 km to go the big group of breakers are caught and Vino has 6 min down and Marcato is in between!
Marcato is caught and it is now only Vino who is out there! he continious to take the points for his final goal!
48 km to go and Cunego is off!
But he is easely caught! 3'40 is the lead for vino with 40 km to go..
With 22 km to go Vino is allmost caught and a lot of rider are trying to get away! Hesjedal, Cunego, Sanchez and so on! Brajkovic is in trouble will he catch them on the decent?
Brajkovic catches up before the last climb but is dropped again right before the top so he has to ride all out on the decent!
But but but Ingliskiy crosses the top 3rd and has a cap to the favourites!
Ingliskiy is caught by the favourites with 5 to go! Hesjedal is alone at the front Cunego chasing him!
Brajkovic joines the favourites at the 5 km point as well!
Well deserved win for Ryder Hesjedal, he rode well, were pleased with the KoM Jersey and Brajko finishes with the Favourites!
Damn he looks good in those polka dots! 13 points to numer 2!
As a bonus we are no 3rd in the Team competition - Thats a good bonus!

Stage 9
It is time to get out the Time Trial gear again for this 41,5 km TT.. We hope for a good result for Brajko to keep his 17th place and maybe Kessiakoff can mingle with the big guns!
The favourites for this stage is offcourse Wiggins, Cadel Evans, Tony Martin and then comes all the other time trialists!
The Time Trial sets off and the Top 20 after 100 riders are as follows:
Grivko drove an easy ride and will now brief the rest of the team on the course!
Grabsch in best time looking to finish high.
Kessiakoff rides a great stage, with 39 riders to go he has the best time at the first point but is 3rd at the finish! Good ride Kessia!
But now things are heating up, the big guys are heading out..
At the moment Millar has the best time at the finish followes by Grabsch and Kessia!
Brajkovic rides in at the 20th best time, not his best ride but it is acceptable!
The standings with 10 riders to go:
No one can take the shirt of Wiggins shoulders, he rides in as the best by miles, he almost caught Contador before reaching the line...
Result:
Janez is now in 7th place and that is very good before heading in to the rest day.. Vino is in the polka dots, so the tour is forming out well for us.
Just a piti that Kessia was shuffed out of the top 10 today, would have been nice for him with a top 10 finnish |

Stage 10
This stage ground for an attack by Vinokourov to secure his jersey and at the same time we have to protect Brajko as he is close to the top 5
The stage is an explosion of attacks! The peloton is not really letting anyone go.. Vino has tried 5 times to go away now, he has got a 1'34 lead with 10 other riders but will the peloton let them go?
Vino is putting a it all in it and has gone from his breakaway companions and as he crosses the fir KoM he is alone and has finaly broken the hole! 2'30 to the peloton.
And yes the peloton lets him go after they ate the 10 man break. This is the looks of it as vino hits the HC climb.
As the close in on the top Schleck breaks away and Brajkovic, Nibali, Peraud, Hesjedal and Sanchez! They got 40' down as they reach the top. Rolland sits 26' in fornt of them and Vino 4 minutes in front of them all with 33 km to go.
But they are caught as they hit the final climb as are Vino so he dos not get the final points, but has still got a fair amount today, Brajko is not able to keep up with the favourites but can his group catch up on the downhill?
But they dont catch up and the front group reaches the goal together and who was the strongest there?
Spoiler
Hesjedal just has an amazing finish and takes his second win!!
Sadly Brajkovic looses 1'50 and is now in 14th place, can he win some time back tommorow?
Vino rides a beatifull ride and takes 25 points and widden his lead in the Mountain competition.
KoM overall
Spoiler 1. Alexandre Vinokourov 48 pts (25)
2. Ryder Hesjedal 20 pts (12)
3. Pierre Rolland 17 pts (16)

Stage 11
Vinokourov has to go out again today, there are to many mountain points for him to let go. Maybe Brajkovic vill take his attempt on one of the final climbs.
Vino is off, he takes the first climb by himself but is chased by T. Pinot, but on the decent Vino is much stronger and widden the gap to over 3 minutes to Pinot.
Brajko has a pair of good legs today and sits in the front of the peloton all the way up the second mountain...
Vino is strong and takes the next 20 points as well, but im not sure if he has the reserve to go all the way because of his ride yesterday, but the mountain points is his!
12'40 to the peloton with 20 km to go, but no more energy can he make it anyway????
Damn, 3 km to go and Vino is caught, but Brajko is still in the yellow jersey group...
Only one man had the legs today, Gesink takes the victory with 15' to the peloton! Brajko rides in with that group and is still in 15th 5'04 after.
Vino takes a lot of points today and the Mountain jersey compition is almost closed at this moment...

Stage 12
This stage will be an hopefully easy day for the team, maybe Kiser or Kessia will go in the morning break if they should go all the way. Who knows Maybe Iglinskiy as well
Kessiakoff is on to the attack, he formes the morning breakaway with; M. Perget, M. Moser, A. Vichot, L. Sanchez Gil, N. Vogondy and M. Mori!
I nice strong break, maybe it can hold all the way and if it dosent we have Iglinskiy ready in the peloton for the final climb!
As the reach the second top the lead is more than 8 minutes and continue to grow!
Sadly the sprinter teams want this to end in a mass sprint and the gap is starting to crumble :S Damn you Green Edge and Lotto, but that just mean that Iglinskiy has to be ready!
Kessia takes his chance with 40 km to go but is not able to get away, they will be caught by the peloton just before the line!
As the peloton reach the bottom of the category 3 climb Iglinskiy makes his move, will this be enough?
But no, he couldnt go all the way. It all ended up in a mass sprint!
Oscar Freire was the fastest today!

Stage 16
A lot of mountain points this day, a day for Vinokourov! Brajkov will try to stay with the favourites!
Kessia launches an attack and Vino follows him, 10 other riders follows aswell and they are away.
Kessia and Vino sits at the back of the group and plans to ditch them on the first climb and go for it alone!
Vino and kessia moves on to the attack with 10 km to the top and gets away, Westra and Le Mevel joins the two at the top so they are now 4 man in the front..
Westra is quickly dropped at the next climb, Vino takes the tall and do all the work in the 3 man break for Kessia... Offcourse Vino gets his Mountain points!
With 40 km to go the break has got 28 minutes on the peloton.. This is crazy! Will kessia attack on the last climb or rely on his great strength on the downhills??? and what will happen in the peloton?
Le Mevel tries on the last climb, Kessia goes after him and past him, is this the moment????
10 km to go and Kessia has got 47 seconds to Riblon and Le Mevel, its only downhill to goal and that is Kessiakoffs strongside!
HOT DAMN, Kessiakoff just keeps adding to his lead at the front and crosses the line first! This is a massive day for the team and Kessiakoff!!!
How will the favourites finish?
GESINK crashes on the wet decent! wow what a stage!
And then Froome crashes! Vinokourov finishes 4th! Nice ride by him helping Kessia to a great win!
Brajkovic crosses the line with Rolland on a 19th place taking a 13th in the classement!

2. Christophe Riblon +1'04
