Jolly: I think most people have unlimited download. I don't know about Portugal, but here in Denmark, it's normal. |

I can't think of anyone I know with download limits, so...well, except for Jolly now

and it was supposed to be even more busy.
the demo of Crysis, by a huge margin the most anticipated game of the year (also the first game made especially for dx10) was supposed to have been released.
on the exact minute that the countdown on the site ran to zero, they announced it has been delayed for one month and one day.
however, the full game will still be released on the predicted date (can't remember what day at the end of November)

have you been living in a cave for the past 4 years? a cave on mars? it's Crysis!
THE Crysis. the one that had several tens of thousands of pre-orders even before a release YEAR was set...
the only thing bigger than this will be spore. spore will literally stop civilization whenever it's out

i hope we will meet each other online...
btw is anyone playing pes 6 online? yes I am, my account is Ruben-Magician and also MasterRoshi.
I'm an average player with a win % around 55% so defo not great. My rating fluctuates between 500 and 650. I once had a peak of 710 lol, but that was just luck. |

I still say Halo will be the bigger - we'll just have to wait for the sale figures
And it may be a cave, but at leasts it's out of the wind

meanwhile the usual 900KB/s speed of filefront has plummeted to 60. this can mean but one thing. a gargantuan number of people are downloading it.
then again, seems like all other mirrors are full, so I'll have to make do with filefront's "no downloaders limit" policy.
2 hours to go until the whole demo's downloaded.....bah...

the thing about Crysis is that even if no one had bought it, it will still be a mark in the history of computers. it's the first program specifically designed for dx10. and that's huge.
here are a few examples:

well, back on the PES subject, I've just had my first whirl at the demo.
Portugal 1-0 Spain. Quaresma dribbles his way into the box from the left, and when pushed by Ramos, promptly "dives into the pool". penalty. only goal B)
I'll post my thoughts on it after actually getting to play it for a while, tomorrow or so. for now, the graphics update looks good.

I tried it too
it's better than the other (for me it is), the problem is i can't play it on maximum details, my pc don't let it. From what i've seen and played, i'll definitely buy it for PS 2 or 3.

PC? sure. beware the huge size of the demo (1,1GB )

small video I just made:

(sorry about the quality, but better would've meant a huge file)

First impressions: not bad.
I'm having problems with the controls though because I bought a new pad and I still need to sort the buttons out! Also the cut scenes are a bit jerky (look nice though) but thats because I'm using a X1300 Pro - but I'm getting a 7600 GTS so that should sort that hitch out.
Overall it looks good, plays well as always and will be much better (commentary, full teams, all the graphical mods) when they release the full game. |

well, Teamvision (AKA Adaptative AI that learns how to beat you), certainly works.
I was thinking how easy it was pummeling the AI at first. 2 5-minute-games later I'm having my ass handed back to me...
it didn't take long for the AI to learn that I mostly play through the wings. now it's double-teaming my wingers

I'll probably download it tomorrow and see what it's all about. If it's just nearly as good as PES07, then I'm happy |
