I simulated to march and it didn't crash the game i just couldn't go to the calendar during that time. So i suppose you could just play through march.

Just thought I'd let you know: Several people have reported this bug to Cyanide through their beta forum, so hopefully they are now working on fixing it. At least they now know that there's a problem. |

Since I've reinstalled and updated the game to its latest version I haven't experienced any problems.
If that doesn't help, the only solution might be to avoid using the calendar during "critical" months.

When you say you haven't had any problems do you mean with a pro tour team. Because i don't have one with them, but i do crash in march with continental teams.

Oh. Didn't really think about that - now that you mention it. I did have that problem when playing with Panaria. On second thought, I used to have that problem as well with T-Mobile. Now with QSI it didn't occur (after reinstalling etc.).

The people at the beta forum say that it only happens to Continental teams, but if it happened to you with T-Mobile, I guess we'll have to think about that option too. |

as far as i can tell it crashed with 5 different teams out of 5 tries. It is the calendar where it shows all the races in the month in a vertical list by date(1st screen). I also tried quite a few dates and it still crashed. It has crashed on different months using different DB's. With the original i believe it was September, PCM Spain was March. It crashed on Eternal and Geeks, but do not recall the month. Hope this helps.

I've had the same problem. Unless it gets fixed, just do your best to take part in the races the game has pre-set for you, or if it is going to hurt your long term goals for the season, then plan a Training Camp around it.

yeah it crashes as soon as you are flipping through the calendar and hit march. I have found that it crashed in september with the origanal db. With PCM Spain it crashes in march with continental teams. This the case for me.

As I mentioned before, I don't have that problem anymore since reinstalling and patching the game. Of course, that doesn't necessarily work in all cases...

What I've noticed though:
The calendar gets messed up regularly, listing March races in February or June races in May. The race date is correctly displayed as for example 01/06 - 08/06 but it's listed in the May calendar.
I don't know, but it might have something to do with the crashes.

Panaflex i am sure you tried it but could you try again to see if it does it with a continental team, because i reinstalled it and installed the latest patch and i get the continental crash in march. Just a confirmation if you could for me.

Don't expect it to be fixed, though. It seems like they can't reproduce the bug, so it's going to be difficult. |

I get the same problem as well (september in the original database, march in PCM Spain).
Hopefully it will go away in 2008 when my team advances to the pro tour. |
