Why am I not surprised to see Festina with the first crash?
A shame that 3 of my riders have been in there as well.
Expected podium here with Schoch having a brilliant 7th after the better sprinters in Vesely and Krieger had lost contact. Just 3 riders in the first group...
Also my riders need to understand that they won`t have a chance without being in the breakaway here.
Great report. |

F***ing Festina... stay on your bikes
Opening two stages offer a great chance for Rowe, who really has the highest pedigree in the field. He could snatch four stages here.

No one in the breakaway, and all our guys lost time. Cool.
Alakagom you're fired.

This is Kwiatkowski's chance to show he should be our priority for this race next year and not Nikias Arndt! I have had a rider in the Top 13 at least every year, hopefully Kwiatkowski can achieve something similar.
Have a feeling that me and fenian's constelation is gonna do great things

Good job! Good effort! Nice lead-out - Theo and Leigh!
Solid 3rd place though.

Stallaert in 6th! I know next year he will likely be looking for a couple of podium places here. Curfs didn't lose time either.

Top 5 with Yamamoto, thats something to be excited about, as I find sprinting to be a bit random if your guy isn't one of the Top 3 sprinters for the stage or race.

Great. Even if this U23 race my team crashesout of the equation. My only sprinter is prolly injured, and Landa, who could perhaps have done top 10 is down on time.
Ironically enough the only two riders in my team that weren't affected, were the two loanies from other teams. Do my team have some kind of spell cast upon?

Yeah, in two seperate parts. Part 1, where you buy the hat, and part 2 where you eat it.
I will be looking cincerely forward to part 1.

X2 on that. I'll probably be taking the Euskadi name next season.
Team Festina - Euskadi, the team that never finishes.
