Really nice writeup, and good choice of Lotto. Riding the Giro will be awesome, as well as maybe leading, depending on your stats.

Thanks Teddy it's my first story so any criticism is welcome!
I'll be buying the game later today, so I'll have it earlier than expected. But I'll try it out for a few races before I start the career, just to get to know the gameplay
PS Sorry he didn't join Cofidis or FDJ |

Interesting team choice especially because Henry can get a big chance like riding the giro as a free rider. It will be interesting to see how he can do there |

Rise and shine, campers!
Today is the first day of my first training camp with Lotto-Belisol. Our racing schedules are far from finished, but training can't wait! Unsurprisingly Majorca will be the place where we all try to get in shape and work on our abilities. Reynès should be happy about this, since we're practically racing in his backyard. This is a picture of the hotel we're staying at:
So I met most of the team for the first team yesterday. I think it went fairly well, almost everyone speaks English quite fluently. The team has a whole different feel as opposed to my former team, though. The training is quite different, too. We've been divided into groups on basis of our abilities. I'll be training with the climbers such as Van Den Broeck, the Vanendert brothers, De Clerq... I'm looking forward to riding with them, I hope I'll be able to follow them in these mountains here.
Well, I've got to go, we're all ready for the first training of the year.
I'll report back as soon as possible,
H. |

That is a realy nice hotel.
Would be a hard ride if VDB would set the pace but I'm sure you could follow |

Very nice write-up and very good team for you, all looking great
Btw, you should reduce your banner on your signature to at least half size what it is now, bit too big imo, also you could centre the image it for aesthetic reasons

Hi,
It's the end of a very long day.
Now I'm starting to realize what being a professional rider is all about: dying.
Every fiber in my body is screaming out in pain.
Though I have to say I'm feeling pretty good about the training. I was able to keep up with most of the riders, I even won a little sprint against De Greef, on top of the La Corbata, a 12km climb, 7.3% average.
I couldn’t keep up with Van Den Broeck and Vanendert on the next climb, though. What a tough, tough day.
Now what's left is 9 more days of suffering.
Wish me luck,
H. |

Hey. Nice story. I was a bit worried when I first saw Lotto Belisol as I was planning one with them but luckily you are doing it from one rider not as directeur sportif like I plan to do |

Hey,
It's the 26th of February already, and my season at Lotto-Belisol has just started. But before I tell you of my adventures, I'll give you all a brief overview of what happened in the season so far.
Lotto in January & February
Our very own Adam Hansen was the first one to attack in the Australian Championships
Just look at him go!
Unfortunately, it was another breakaway that made it to the finis. Endura Racing Dean Windsor took his first win of the season, unexpectedly.
The NCs were followed by a rather disappointing Tour Down Under by Lotto-Belisol. Although having the best sprint-train, we only managed to get the expected stage win in the final stage.
Spoiler
Greipel dominating the sprint in the final stage.
Lucky for us, the wind broke up the peloton and Jurgen Roelandts bumped up to a 5th place overall!
The overall winner is current National Road Race Champion of The Netherlands: Pim Ligthart!
Brief Results
Greipel took another win in Qatar a couple of weeks later.
Gianni Meersman took his first win of the season in Andalucia, he also took the points jersey home.
My Calendar
25/02: Omloop het Nieuwsblad | 26/02: Kuurne - Bruxelles - Kuurne | 02/03 - 04/03: Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen | 23/03 - 25/03: Critérium International | 02/04 - 07/04: Tour of Basque Country | 11/04: Brabantse Pijl | 15/04: Amstel Gold Race | 18/04: Waalse Pijl | 22/04: Liège - Bastogne - Liège | 05/05 - 27/05: Giro d'Italia | 13/06 - 27/06: Ster ZLM Tour | 24/06: National Championships |
I really wanted to race Paris-Nice but Sergeant told it'd be better if I raced in West-Vlaanderen, to get some more experience first. I have to say I agree with him, but it still would've been nice to race my first WT race in my own country.
Luckily, the schedule gets better and better for me, climaxing in the Giro, where I'll be free to make my own race. I'll be going with De Clerq, so we may be able to help each other. I'll be helping Vanendert in the classics and Van Den Broeck in Basque Country.
My First Two
My season started with the start of the Belgian cycling:
Omloop het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne - Brussel - Kuurne. My role was perfectly clear: help Roelandts and Greipel as much as you can.
Omloop het Nieuwsblad
Well, it doesn't look hard on paper, but the racers make this one hard. Every Belgian showing off because it's the first Belgian race. I've had more fun on my bike than yesterday, let me tell you that!
The peloton stayed more or less together for the biggest part of the race.
Roelandts just had to finish it... and so he did.
The race was incredibly hard on me, you can't imagine!
However, I didn't cross the finish line as the last rider! Try and find where I finished; one small tip;

Kuurne - Brussel - Kuurne
Another hard race. I had a different task today, though, I could attack!
So I was the first to attack today, and it felt heavenly!
The cobbles hurt like hell!
There's only one thing you can do when you can't ride cobbles...
Keep on attacking, until you drop dead!
Later on, it started raining, and things got ugly real quick.
With more than 100km to go I lost my appetite for cycling, as you can see on this picture. I'm the only one who didn't notice the camera!
After that I just dropped further down and down and down.
Spoiler
FDJ taking a beautiful win with Démare.
And then finally... I arrived.
I'm not amused
Tired, wet and nearly dead, but I made it, I survived two cobbled races. Now I can put it behind me and look to the future, to the horizon, and not a flat road on it!

See you there,

Very nice reports
Some tips, use jpg pictures rather than png, they take a lot less space and will make your story load faster
Second you can put the exported results using Tabe ( between youtube and Spoiler button ) and choose 100%, the results look nicer.
Really liked the pictures
BTw, there's a bug in the DB that all riders have the same statistics, didn't that affect you ?

And btw, you can space out the races a bit. So for example you're doing Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen now, you might post 1st stage inthe morning, 2nd in afternoon and last one at night or something like that Will make us coming back to the story Just another small tip. Really good start though

Yeah, I thought it was too big a post!
Thanks a lot, I'll keep it in mind
It's just that when I play PCM 12, I play quite a while. But I can do reports later on, that shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks |

I hope you can still enjoy your upcoming Lotto story as much as you would've before
I think it's a very interesting team
I'm sure I will enjoy it. I chose them because they had some good riders but not overly good so I could get results and not dominate |
