Can`t complain. 3rd and 4th and Passeron again of course. This guy is worth all the money he earns.
I had hoped to grab a win with 2 men in front but nice one nevertheless. Willems` best result so far I guess, maybe even in his man game career? But still probably one of the old guys to leave the team. Good guy for D2 I guess. |

Nice
Already expected the breakaway would stay with this size, and very important that Bol bridged the gap. Martin with a solid 6th place after leading out, so there's nothing to complain about.

What was that? Ember did my team even try to chase?
Well at least Costa gain some unexpected time on the favourites.

Your team, Mresuperstars, didn't chase much, but the breakaway was pretty much controlled by other teams, until there were about 15 kilometers left, when it suddenly decided to stop the chase. Costa took advantage of that, and attacked with 7 kilometers left.
Over to stage 3, and the Swedish man-game teams better listen up.
Larsson will probably be for sale if he continues this horrible racing in mass starts. Once again he decides to block himself out of contention, and he can once again forget about a good placing in the overall. Hopefully he can do something good on the TT, but I'm starting to be annoyed by his mass start "abilities" |

Was Larsson ever really a strong threat for GC here though?
Nice to see some of the teams towards the lower end of the standings really having a good race though. Got to fancy LL Sanchez's chances to win for Cerne, but Cyclevox are going very well to take 3rd and keep Yellow.

Yep, tied 7th best in mountains, tied first in TT.
Quite disappointed with Rolland, could have definately been better. GC ambitions look far away now.
On the other hand, good result for Bol with the white jersey, and agressive riding from Delage, although I think he could have been up with the very best if he had saved his energy.

De Greef riding way better than expected. If he gets a top 10 he is guaranteed a contract next season.

A good ride by Pellizotti. I fear the TT though. Pellizotti needs to get time on LLS on a later occation.

I believed so, considering the line up for the race, and his abilities, I thought he would be able to challenge for a top 5, maybe even a podium, considering the TT on stage 10. Though, it would have needed a fair bit of positional luck on all key stages
I'm planning to post the 4th stage in the evening, before 3 more stages will be posted tomorrow, as there will most likely be no stage for you on Monday.

Great ride by Beyer! Also nice to see Busche riding pretty well, but Sanchez really caught everyone sleeping.

Taking the team out for steak was a great idea

Finally something to celebrate.
This is the kind of thing I was expecting LL Sanchez could do here. Now I just hope he keeps digging this gap before the stage to Alto da Torre, where guys like Pellizotti could hurt his chances.

I do hope the harder stages favor my riders more than the 3 so far. At least my team is riding as a team, and working together..

Good stage for me. Just two climbers ahead of Ruijgh on hilly ground is good for him. Better chances to get a top10. |

Why do my team always end up being "punished" for actually trying?

Awesome ride by McCarthy. Great to see him riding well already, looking forward to him growing over the years.

I joke, but I think my team are suddenly on something. It's like a season's worth of ambition and effort has came out in these last few stages.

Brilliant. Rothaus decides to do nothing...
Not sending a guy into the breakaway, not trying to get a sprint finish, not even sprinting for the last top10 spots.
Anything my team could have done worse in the 4th stage? |

So why did De Greef finish 14'30" down?
The reports are fantastic. Also nice to see my team being aggressive for once.
