is the game playable until season 2030? or can you play longer than that?

Obviously this might take a little time to start up but it already has the potential to become my favourite story on the site! So good luck on setting us up for a good read over the summer |

I don't know wether or not I'll do a proper story. I might open a thread in the story section to give reports on the major races. Keep in mind, I am only simulating so the reports won't be very detailed.
I've started simulating, I'm going to finish the 2014-season tonight.
What do you think; should I do a report at the end of every season in the story section?

well, it would be nice to be updated, to see some progress or downfall of the teams and riders, but it will slow you down a bit... |

As a suggestion, how about just uploading the save game each year. That will save you time and energy, plus give people the opportunity to see the results if they really wanted to.

I think I might give a semi-detailed report after each season with major happenings such as GT-winners, new records, riders retiring, etc.
I'll think about tonight But there will be updates, that's kinda the whole point about this.

Yeah, no point in simulating up to 2030 just for the fun of it, is there? |

If you are getting somewhat impatient, I can give you a very, very brief summary of some of the things that have happened so far. I will make a more detailed report in a different thread soon
- Cancellara 7 time ITT WC champion
- Gilbert 3 time WC champion (in a row)
- Liquigas has been relegated
- Andy Schleck finally won the TdF in 2014 (Nibali, Contador, Evans, Scarponi, Van den Broeck, F. Schleck, Cunego, Sanchez and Purito were all either injured or didn't start in the Tour). It was also a year with almost no TT-kilometers. So pretty realistic then

my TDF 2014 had 85 km of TT. but I guess the routes don´t come in a determined order.
Who the hell is Purito? |

Joaquim Rodriguez
Were the Giro and Vuelta absolutely packed with stars that year?

On a related note, can the popularity of raced change?

Sounds like a great idea
You should post a screenshot of the season stats page every year
Also, it would be nice if you took screenshots of the top stats every few years... |
