I think focusing on sprinters was a bad idea, but what choice did I have?
Imo you are not focusing on sprinters, you are focusing on staying around til your young Chinese guy are ready :-p If I hadn't known you would overbuy me no matter what I would've tried to get him

Thats true! Shikai will probably be my best rider in a year or two
But for now, everyone on my team is an average sprinter, or very average puncheur.

Average puncheurs are essential if you want to get promoted, you do need a couple of leaders though.

Need leaders? Red Bull may prove that wrong ;-) (or you can say that Gadret is a leader, but their best is 32nd on the ranking, Mori)

True, but Red Bull have about 10 back up leaders. They only have 5 riders without 70 flat, which is an outrageous statistic.

I scored a decent amount of points this period, I think. Promotion seems to be just out of reach, even though my Di Maggio still have a lot of races left he can score well in.

Anyone that could do a points per race? So we can see how that looks now, seems to be interesting battles all over the table (Winner, Promotion spots, top 10, bottom at least)

This is an estimate - unlike the CDiv2 rankings - I update this every time SN gives his rankings. It's skewed of course as Aker have nearly used Alarcon, who is largely their team, up. But VW are going great - despite some disapointing moments in the season for you guys Heine. It's strange in a way our teams are polar opposites!

Rapha have it sown up.
Also, Oz cycling look guaranteed to finish last then, although one lucky breakaway could change all that.

@Smowz
I've noticed the same, find it strangly facinating. I also think it shows that you can reach the top flight of CT by using different tactics.
Another fun fact, neither of our team are even close to being strong enough for the Pro Tour. I got 1 potential leader up there next season, and that is only becuse he develops (Flügel) and Impey should be able to get some good results. None of us are even close to the level that Ikea-Bianchi had last year.
I seem to have more race days left compared to most around me, thats good. I just gotta hope Flügel delivers! In theory I should be able to catch Aker (and get into the 5 sure promoters), but you never know and I will need to have the luck I had early in the season back.

being within reach with Cal Berry is very positive, on the other hand Aker has surprisingly amazing season and jumps into TOP5. VW, Pirelli, Vespa and BPost are still dangerously close...it´s going to be interesting into the very end!

Looks like it will be a great race again in the CT for the yet to be determined promotion spots. Good to see the Cal Berry squad looking like a good bet right now.
And those at the bottom of the table should not be discouraged, we have seen some big turnarounds from year to year, and i love the OZ and Meiji projects. No reason not to expect some more exciting races and growth going forward.
