Reading a review of the computer I'm so tired of using because of lagging. MAx 1 stage if I have 8x hole the way to 5 km left I just can manage 1 before lagging. This sounds good!!!
" is acceptable for daily use but absolutely rubbish for gaming or 3D work." |

Lol, well PCM is really not demanding at all And by 3D they mean highest graphics on games like Crysis 2. So don't worry mate
Obviously with laptop, you will have less performance for same price so with price range 500-600 expect something less than the PC Above, but is still should run PCM fairly well and with no lagging

Yes, I would say that quite easily. There's explanation why that is by Tower PC will always be more powerful than laptop at the same price or even when laptop cost more and PC tower costs less in many examples, such as the one you gave.
Think about the transport though before you make final decision. PC Tower is much better, but than laptop is very handy at times.

I would rather have a Lappy. Thats what I'm burning my paycheck on, once I get a job to even get a paycheck
The mobility of a laptop is great! Can bring to school if need be, and on trips much easier.
Only battery life and as Alakagom said power are the only downsides, oh and the impossibility of the mousepad thingy.

Valv, this will be bad for your health You will probably not resit the temptation of playing PCM at school.... Middle of class and Velliuex/Hesjedal wins a race, you epicly with fists together jump out of joy from your desk. That would be one hella of intresting after math with your teacher

I already do that with games on my phone And when I would check to see how Hesjedal did on the days of the Giro I missed, but I usually resisted checking that, till my computer course.
