2. Andy will ride the Giro. Is this good or bad, I don't know. What do you think?
Good.
Spoiler
For me
If Navarro gets a top 10 or a stage win in the Vuelta, then Gilbert can win it.
Hope for a result like this :
1. Gilbert
8. Navarro

1st Stage
Mark Cavendish (Ferrari)
Alessando Petacchi (Ferrari)
Gerald Ciolek (LG)
Daniele Bennati (CSC)
Matty Goss (Holden)
Favorites:
This stage was quite short and flat, so it was definitely a day for the sprinters. In the last 50 kilometers Ferrari chased hard to catch the breakaway, as they have probably the fastest sprinter of the world, Mark Cavendish . The break got caught with 15 kilometers to go, and the sprinters trains got to form. Ferrari had a very strong train with Eisel , Swift , Navardauskas , Petacchi and finally Mark Cavendish . Our team didn't set up a train for Daniele Bennati , but he tried to hold onto the wheel of Cavendish. The others sprinters looked well sat up for the sprint. With 3kms to go, Daniele lost the wheel of Cav, and got passed by some riders. At the end Cav got a perfect lead out, and he took the stage, ahead of Freire , Renshaw and Goss . Bennati came 9th, as he faded a lot in the last kilometers. A little group got 32 seconds at the end, unfortunately with 2 CSC riders. Duyn and Kangert had problems to keep it up.

Positives:
Mark Cavendish : What a nice performance for The Manx Missile! He got the stage win with a big edge over the others!
Ferrari : Ferrari controlled the race, and got the expected stage win.
Oscar Freire : The old spaniard came to Australia, to get some form, but it looks like, that he can do something also for the GC, but also for the sprints.
Red- Bull Oracle : The Wildcard team got into the break with Michael Bates, and now owns both the KOM and the sprints jersey!
Mark Renshaw : Cav's old lead out has some form after the Australian Championships, and he got a 3rd place at the end of the stage.
Negatives:
Peter Sagan : The young rider didn't have the legs to compete against the big guns, although some says, that he is one of the biggest cycling talents. One positive is that, he got some KOM points.
Gerald Ciolek : LG's sprinter seems to be in a very bad form, as he only got a 21th place after a disastrous sprint.
Daniele Bennati : His team wanted at least a top 5 from him today, but he failed to deliver.
Alexander Efimkin : Before the race, he was a favorite for the GC, but he already lost 32 seconds. That wasn't the best start for Privatbank, I guess.
CSC Reaction:
That was a little bit disappointing for us today. We had nobody in the break, we didn't have Bennati in the top 5, and Kangert and Duyn lost time. There is nothing more to be said.

You can't be too upset, with the random form at the start of the seson and all

Looks great Though some flags would be nice for the layout. Now it's just text and a few colors, which doesn't invite to read.

This was only a report of the first (flat) stage, so Efimkin isn't doing bad yet

Santos Tour Down Under Review
: We had a very disappointing TDU, that's for sure. Bennati got just one Top 10 in the whole race. We expected top 5s and a stage win! This time Daniele failed, but we believe that, next time he will be back in a winning form. Tomohiro Hayakawa, the young japanese rider, was surprisingly strong enough to catch the 3rd place in the young riders classification. We are very proud of him.
In general, TDU went as expected. Cavendish took 3 stages, and Petacchi made this TDU a very good race for Ferrari, as he was 2 times second. The GC is for Peter Sagan , who was the most consistent in the hilly stages. Congratulations to him. The Wildcard teams were also very active, as Roche got 5th in the GC and Peter Velits won the KOM jersey.

Team CSC will only ride WT events this moment apart from the very famous Strade Bianche.
Ignatiev Mikhail , Hayakawa Tomohiro, Cornu Dominique, Duyn Huub, Van Emden Jos, Keirsbluck Guillaume
This is just a form-raising event for us, but we will look for a top10 with Mikhail.
Schleck Andy , Boasson Hagen Edvald , Ignatiev Mikhail, Duyn Huub, Van Staeyen Michael, Navarro Daniel, Cornu Dominique, Bouet Maxime
This is a very important race for us, and with Andy and Edvald in our squad, we are taking it very seriously. With this squad we think that we are capable of everything. We can win stages, and also have shot on the GC. This will surely be an interesting race for us.
Bozic Borut, Bennati Daniele , Keirsbluck Guillaume, Kiserlovski Robert , Hayakawa Tomohiro, Gasparotto Enrico, Ovechkin Artem, Kunitski Andrei
The Tirenno is not a key race for us, but we should be contenders for the sprints with Bennati, and he also got a nice leadout. Robert will likely hunt the KOM jersey.
Boasson Hagen Edvald , Bozic Borut, Bennati Daniele, Navarro Daniel, Koren Kristjan, Ovechkin Artem, Ignatiev Mikhail
One of the biggest goals of the season. The MSR suits EBH best, and he got very nice helpers in order to win the first monument of the year.
Volta Ciclista a Catalunya
Navarro Daniel , Bozic Borut , Keirsbluck Guillaume, Kunitski Andrei, Ovechkin Artem, Cornu Dominique, Hayakawa Tomohiro, Kangert Tanel
Daniel should be in a decent form in Catalunya, and he is eager for a good show in his homeland.
