Good luck mate, should be quite intresting. You should destroy Giro though
I may think you were right about this one, but that means that the Tour is going to be considerably harder. |

Stage 7 -- Pescara - Porto Recanati
Kittel falls with around 10k to go, and Pichler goes down with him. All pre-race favorites except Huber and Talansky were caught in the split. There are about 50 riders in the lead group.
Degenkolb takes his 3rd stage win! The second group is over 3 minutes behind. Huber still hasn't reached 80 fitness pts, so there is still no certainty that this will be easy.

Stage 8 -- Porto Recanati - Cagli
Classified as a hilly stage, but I doubt we'll see any attacks from the favorites.
Konyakov wins after attacking away from the break. Vodafone was apparently not interested in keeping Degenkolb as leader. Nicholas Walker is also the new leader.

Stage 9 -- Cagli - Carpegna
As we all have heard before, this is a stage were you might lose the race, not win it.
As we hit Monte Carpegna, Moser and Huber are sitting in the front of the pack. We plan to hold a steady pace all the way to the top, and only mark out the other race favorites.
About halfway through the climb, and all the race favorites are present, except for de Vries.
Carlos Gallardo (MO78) attacks over the top and Huber is having major trouble keeping up, Rabo rider de Koning is following Huber. Tom Moser is back with the favorites.
Huber closing in on Gallardo, and the group of favorites is not far away either.
Huber didn't manage to close the gap early enough, so Gallardo wins! There were no time gaps back to the rest of the favorites, but that doesn't stop Huber from wearing pink

Stage 12 -- Ferrara - Croce D'Aune
Ulissi tries his luck from the bottom of Croce d'Aune. Which is quite weird, because it will be impossible to catch the break, and he is way out of the GC
Atapuma attacks and nearly reaches Ulissi. Huber is still in the group and feeling OK
Demare (the sprinter) wins the stage!
Huber reaches Atapuma in the sprint, and takes some vital seconds on the rest

Lovely to see Dominik Nerz in Pink (How good is he, by the way?) I hope to achieve that once as well. Anyway, great story so far, and it looks really good for the Giro overall.

With 3 in the top ten you need a massive 3rd week if you want to end up as the winner |

Stage 14 -- Portogruaro - Tre Cime di Lavaredo
Red Bull taking control over Tre Croci
Quintana attacking before the last bit of climbing. Capecchi has a lead of over 6 minutes, and will most likely win the stage.
Quintana attacking again after Mollema, Atapuma and Nerz reached him. Huber is keeping a steady pace, conserving energy for the tough finish.
Huber is passing Mollema and targets Quintana as we pass te 1 kilometer left mark.
Huber takes second after Capecchi, and also takes control over the pink jersey

Stage 15 -- Cortina d'Ampezzo - Passo Pordoi
Riding hard over Passo Fedaia as Huber has great legs today, and we're hoping to get our second stage win.
Around 30 riders left in the main group as we start the climb to Passo Pordoi
Huber attacks from the foot of the climb, trying to shake things up a bit.
Halfway through the climb and his gap varies between 30 and 40 seconds.
Nerz and Quintana takes up the chase, but it is too late as the finishing kilometer is almost completely flat.
Huber wins!
