I may think you were right about this one, but that means that the Tour is going to be considerably harder.

Stage 7 -- Pescara - Porto Recanati

img716.imageshack.us/img716/326/pcm0026.jpg

img441.imageshack.us/img441/7669/pcm0027.jpg
Kittel falls with around 10k to go, and Pichler goes down with him. All pre-race favorites except Huber and Talansky were caught in the split. There are about 50 riders in the lead group.

img13.imageshack.us/img13/2653/pcm0028.jpg
Degenkolb takes his 3rd stage win! The second group is over 3 minutes behind. Huber still hasn't reached 80 fitness pts, so there is still no certainty that this will be easy.

Stage 8 -- Porto Recanati - Cagli

img600.imageshack.us/img600/9902/pcm0029n.jpg
Classified as a hilly stage, but I doubt we'll see any attacks from the favorites.

img4.imageshack.us/img4/3583/pcm0030i.jpg
Konyakov wins after attacking away from the break. Vodafone was apparently not interested in keeping Degenkolb as leader. Nicholas Walker is also the new leader.

Stage 9 -- Cagli - Carpegna

img834.imageshack.us/img834/5052/pcm0031.jpg
As we all have heard before, this is a stage were you might lose the race, not win it.

img716.imageshack.us/img716/8072/pcm0032.jpg
As we hit Monte Carpegna, Moser and Huber are sitting in the front of the pack. We plan to hold a steady pace all the way to the top, and only mark out the other race favorites.

img688.imageshack.us/img688/8195/pcm0033.jpg
About halfway through the climb, and all the race favorites are present, except for de Vries.

img192.imageshack.us/img192/7535/pcm0034j.jpg
Carlos Gallardo (MO78) attacks over the top and Huber is having major trouble keeping up, Rabo rider de Koning is following Huber. Tom Moser is back with the favorites.

img209.imageshack.us/img209/6762/pcm0035.jpg
Huber closing in on Gallardo, and the group of favorites is not far away either.

img840.imageshack.us/img840/4059/pcm0036c.jpg
Huber didn't manage to close the gap early enough, so Gallardo wins! There were no time gaps back to the rest of the favorites, but that doesn't stop Huber from wearing pink Smile

You must have played this Giro route in the years before, or not?
