I've always thought that the CQ-ranking decides who is promoted, but relegation is based on the WT-ranking? |

There is no way you can relegate with this team!
Kreuziger: Paris-Nice or Tirreno(depends on which route), Catalonia, Basque, Ardenes Classics and Tour de Romandie+Vuelta. He scould be able to win all races and will give you 600 - 900 points. After Tour De Romandie he is leading the pro tour in my game with 700 points with this schedule.
Duarte: Paris- Nice or Tirreno + Giro + Tour de Suisse or Dauphine. He scould be able to compete top-3 in all these races.
Sagan: Down under + all hilly races in spring and fall. You can take both Kreuziger and Sagan in top 5 in all hilly races.
The homemade rider - use him for the tour and Dauphine or Tour De Suisse, classica San Sebastian, Tour De Pologne.
Tejay for Eneco Tour.
Guardini i will give one stage race in the months january, february and march + april. Race again in Tour de pologne, Eneco Tour and then maybe give him the Vuelta.
But put your team after the routes and if you have team time trial, make sure your specialists drive the GT where it is. It is easy minutes + seconds to take on your competetors.
Ulissi+ Maschiarelli you can use as helpers - and let them go for the victory in Giro Del Trentino, tour of Austria etc.
Make sure you have a good hilly rider in shape for Tour Down under.
Except for cobblestones you can compete in every terrain - so i actually think this team will be able to win the pro tour or at least be 2nd. So no worries my friend :-)

Hmm maybe it is, i was never relegated so im not sure. But as has been said: no chance for relegation for this team.
In early races is easy to win if you set training as early as can. In autumn races is also more chances to win beacause AI riders have traveled too many days. April's classics are very hard beacause of Gilbert. |

This is the breakdown of the profiles of the three GT's.
GIRO:
- 1 TTT (42km)
- 4 hill
- 6 Mountains
- 2 ITT (42km + 35km)
Tour de France:
- 4 Hill
- 6 Mountain
- 2 TT (29km + 53km)
Vuelta:
- 1 TTT (16km)
- 10 hill
- 3 Mountain
- 1 ITT (46.2km)
I don't feel like using Duarte as the leader in neither the Giro nor the Vuelta because of all the timetrials. It seems like I'll be using my created rider for both. |

In case you're really only after the points, here's my advice:
Kreuziger: T-A or P-N + Catalunya + Pais Vasco, Tour de France
Your Rider: Giro + Vuelta
Sagan: TA or PN (that one that Kreuziger doesn't ride) + MSR + Ardennes, Pologne + Eneco + Vattenfall + Canada + Lombardia. If there are still some race days to spare, Tour Down Under.
Those should be the important races, since you have no cobbled rider. Depending on your skill and difficulty level, you should be able to podium in all of them, except for maybe the Ardennes and the Tour. Should bring you quite some points.

One goal for the season: Survive my 1st year in the top divison. Result wise: Top 5 (or podium) in the Giro and Vuelta and Top 7 (or top 5) in the Tour.
For races such as Paris-Nice, P-R, etc. I have no goals whatsoever.
With a team like that, you should be able to get some great results in top division. TDF is pretty hard but top 7 should be possible. A very nice team you've got there. |

I've made up my mind and my season is well under way. Just finished Milan - San Remo and my results so far are:
Tour Down Under
- 1st (Sagan)
- 2 stage wins
- KoM-Jersey (Wilmann)
Paris-Nice
- 1st (Sagan
- 2 stage wins
- Point Jersey
Tirreno-Adriatico
- 1st (Kreuziger)
- 4 stage wins
- Point Jersey
Milan - San Remo
- 10th (Sagan)
I've also gotten 2 more wins in smaller races, one with Sagan and one with Kreuziger. With 1/3 of my season allmost done, I've got the Ardennes, cobbled classics aswell as 2 stage races left to go.
Sagan is an absolute joy to play with.

By the way, I think we can up my goal for the Giro. I was originaly going for Top 5/3 and stage wins, but after two stages (team time trial and flat with a small hill near the end) I'm in the lead.
Nibali is out of if after just 2 stages, Liquigas failed completely at the TTT and since I was able to attack and get a 48'' gap on the hill in stage 2, he's now 4'58 behind

Sagan is indeed an absolute joy to play with! Great results so far, it's pretty impossible to degredate now. Enjoy the rest of your season! |

8 of my riders contracts are expiring after this season and I'm only going to resign with one so there will be alot of changes in my squad. Sadly, I couldn't find a norwegian sponsor so I had to settle for one from France. I actually don't remember the name, but my overall budget will increase from roughly 180.000/month to 280.000/month so it's a pretty big change.
Even though a great deal of class riders have contracts that expire after this season (Contador, Cancellara, Cavendish) I won't be looking to sign anyone big. Instead, since I'll be loosing 7-8 riders I'm rather going to look for better helpers, preferably someone with more then 73-74 in MO. Maybe a rider for cobbles too.
Sadly, all of the contracts that are expiring are the ones for many of my norwegian helpers. I would like to keep the norwegian identity of the team, but since they arn't that good and since the team for the next 3 years will be French-German, I might aswell build an international profile.
