Arroyo is rubbish, he has messed up every race he has been in.

That was weird, definetely, Coppel as the race leader in the break of the day... Well, still some nice racing from him. He has now even a chance to get himself back to the leader's jersey after that time trial which is coming..

KOM is nice. 4 climbs tommorrow so we'll probably lose it then. Hope he tries and goes in the break again. |

Good start from Contador. I can't expect him to do much against Spilak in this race. He is just better. And those Hilly monsters Hagen and Bakelants shouldn't be in the top 10 when the race ends, so being the 2nd best GC rider atm is pretty good coming out of a TT and a hilly stage. Especially since he is best in the mountains.
A bit dissapointing from Serpa, but it makes it up that Contador takes 1'30 on Úran, Arroyo and Menchov and also manages to take a little on the rest. Dekker will be difficult to hold back though.

I'll take him off your hands next year. I need a good domestique.

That really was a weird stage.
Stupid AI mistakes once again.
Can imagine quite a few managers like Sotd or SN can`t be happy at all. |

Well, that was an even weirder stage. Not that Bakelants will do anything significant but no complaints from Pearl Adidas.

I vote for the abolition of whichever version of PCM this is, and that we go back to PCM07.

Go back to whatever other version. This one might work when playing it, but the AI without interference sucks. And it becomes waaay too random to my likings.

This has actually been my opinion this whole season. So much randomness in a lot of races. The only thing that more or less improved were sprints (if riders don't get blocked).

Maybe it's been a little bit too much, but I, for one, like it when racing it's a little bit random. It gives the opportunity to see some surprises. Otherwise we should just give the champions title to the team with the best average or most stars.

Well I don't think we have ever had a season where we knew the winner from before the season, or maybe I just suck at guessing. I think it's better if the best teams are around the top, and vica-versa...
Imo I have one of the best teams this season, but because of crashes, splits and shit racing like this stage my team is without any real chance of reaching the top 3 this year. And imo that becomes too random. I, like you, like that riders can surprise, but I don't like when the game screws teams over.
Crashes can happen. Splits can happen. But are they likely to be determining EVERY SINGLE race? I don't think so.
The Vuelta was truly spectacular, as there was very little randomness, and I liked that a lot. To have Contador losing 10 minutes because he felt like taking a piss while Serpa was powering away for a sprinter whom was also taking a piss would have killed me.

Believe me, I know how it feels when a crash decides your team's fate. I had more than enough of those experience at the start of the season.
It's true that your team should be higher in the rankings and it's really unfortunate that almost all the crashes caught one of your riders/leaders and that's not fair, but the game also has its good parts, such as taking a 1-2 in MilanoSan Remo and way better sprints with stronger lead-out trains. I don't think you would have seen a double in La Primavera in previous versions of the game.
In the end though I think that with all these random races and troubles this is the best season of the game yet, and this version of PCM also has something to do with that, in a positive way.

Meh, must both Pedraze and Hugenhaben be at the wrong side of the split? At least Muravjev got the climber jersey.
