Deep down they want a British winner of the TDF, well I like to think that
I hope so too but I think he will only win if he can follow Evans in the mountains
One boring rider beating another, no please!
The myth of Evans being a boring rider has been told enough times already, don't you find it tiresome yet? With Wiggins I kinda agree, although I enjoyed him and Froome creating 'echelons' in La Covatilla (!) last year.
No it's not, it would not be that hopless, considering he did quite well in his comeback 3-4 years ago, with rock racing. It would be a massive PR boost for the Giro also.
As cyclingnews pointed out he couldn't do it as he hasn't be on a doping watch list for the last 6 months. So they would have to waive that rule again like they did for Armstrong. I doubt it will happen. Also how much speed can a 45 year old who hasn't raced in years have?

If the rules were bent for Armstrong, you really should bend them for everyone (= delete rhe rule). If he's serious, just go to CAS. They will point out the irony of letting one man rider, denying another one on the same basis.
Bad luck for Nuyens. Was interested if he can repeat his performance from last year or if it was just a one-hit-wonder.
In other news Luca Scinto (Farnese Vini) said he doesn`t know anything about Cippolini transfer news and as long as he is manager there won`t be any transfer. The team is complete and there is no room. It`s more like a joke or PR gag to show his own brand MCippolini.
So there obviously won`t be a comeback by him. At least not with Farnese.

I read somewhere else that San Sebastian has been saved too.
Seems we will have to live with issoisso for at least one more year
Doubt it. Tour of Haghzwhatever to World Tour and other similar stuff has really been the death of my cycling interest

Best poster design ( rather the jersey ) for a cycling race you can get
Sky announced ultra super squad for Volta a Catalonia, other races in March with no big surprises. Froome, Heano and Nordhaug are riding Crit International, should be fun
