I loved how Forstemann ( the guy on the right of SN's pic ) beat Sireau in the last heat, do you have any pics of him celebrating early SN ? Can't believe he isn't World Champ with that kind of legs and the power in there

Well, Sireau had the legs on him anyhow... it was only two supreme tactical rides that got him bronze.

Back when I was young, say 15 years ago (guys, time flies), the ratio was 2/3 / 1/3 between gym training and bike training for track sprinters. Those were the Fiedler, Rousseau days. They wore customised jeans, but, as far as I remember, they weren't as muscular as the guys on the picture.
Has anyone got a clue of the ratio, or time spent in gym for those guys nowadays ? |

Of course I have photos of it! It was a great ending to the event, to have Forstemann go for it and it actually work. He did it to Hoy of course a couple of years ago - but Hoy kept pushing all the way to the end, unlike Sireau, and Forstemann only just clung on that time

I should have never doubted you that you didn't have them Great pictures, you calling yourself an amateur is such an understatement. You are a pro Definitely at cycling photos

Well I dont see anybody paying me, for me to be a pro
Some photos from the Womens Omnium Elimination race - one of the highlights since the Brit, Laura Trott, kept almost being eliminated, but ended up winning!
Aswell as some Bauge vs Hoy duelling

A good event for photos this, and sure to be one of the most tightly contested of the Olympic. The Aussies won here, but Britain and New Zealand will push them all the way.
