What the hell?
Id like to know how that happened really. 1 mention all stage and at the finish he has suddenly lost 12 minutes.

I´m really surprised Mohs survived this tricky stage within first group, another podium place would be really surprising... now I´m really worried of AI behaviour in crucial stage, just hoping all team won´t wait for Erik once he drop off on hilly/cobbled sections...

Sorry I didn't keep updating the Hushovd and Bellis situation, but I thought it would detract from the race up front, and essentially they just kept loosing more time on the flat in their group where only 2/3 people were working and the peloton was really going for it.
The hill was twisty and steep so it just split everyone massively every time, and they were badly positioned over the first lap and missed the first 2 groups, and I only noticed they were missing after Focus caught back up. Interestingly, there were 2 Rapha riders in the Hushovd group, who didn't drop back to help Bellis, not sure why that was.
EDIT: On Mohs, it was really just positioning over that hill that caused splits, so as long as he was at the front he was fine.

I'm pretty pleased by Meerman's performance, but how the hell did he manage to loose 1'35 in stage 2???
My small hope for a decent GC result destroyed by a lack of attention?

Yeah, as the breakaway riders were falling off he joined them.

I had hoped for Vantomme to stay in first group.
Actually I expected him to be better than Mohs in this stage. But for some reason 3 Rothaus riders were in the 2nd group with Vantomme being in the 3rd after the split.
So just one more realistic stage for him. The 4th will be interesting. Pretty sure a breakaway can win the race there. And I don`t mean a cobbled specialist.
So go Kunitski/Passeron or whoever. |

Thanks for clarifying

If they do I will fucking scream.
Vanspeybrouck looking well placed to fulfill my top 5 goal here. Also young Stallaert in the top 10 is an incredible result.

Damn, another 1-2 win but i just realized that Coyot already lost 2 minutes on stage 2
I hope Haussler can manage to limit his losses and take the GC points i had hoped for.

I'd like to know why I even bothered to take my team in a race like this . Cobbles wtf was I thinking?
Anyway Stage 4 is all the ingredients to be one epic spectacle. I'm looking forward to it.

Of course the Rapha Condor juggernaut doesn't really include Blythe, who is having a very bad race indeed.
It is something I notice if riders get in breaks that teams riders tend to go towards the back of the pack. Not all the time but some of the time. So on stages like that they run the risk of being dropped.
Anyway it is Trilux who are on a roll here, and Pokerstars are really coming good, though it appears they have Mohs as the out and out leader which is s problem.

Brilliant! I didn't expect a 1-2 at all and hopefully Pokerstars will help me control it in the final stage so that there is a bunch finish. It would also be nice for Vanspeybrouck to end the season with a GC win even if he couldn't get a classic.

3 podiums by Vantomme but no single win. Quite disappointing actually.
This last stage looked perfect with 7 Rothaus riders in front. Unfortunately Cucinotta was the only real support for Vantomme in a sprint train and although he did his job excellent Vantomme was too early in the win.
Trilux is really on fire at the moment and also Bpost is doing nice climbing up the rankings.
I might have sent Vantomme to Herning, where he might have won the bunch sprint against Giaux.

Nice stage win for Trilux. Haussler is having a very strong season.
Thanks for the great reports mb! I'm so pleased to have a second sponsor goal completed. I'm just hoping those points will be enough to set me up for a top 15 given the amount of fairly weak races I have coming up.

Nice race for Bpost, Trilux, Pokerstars and probably Koppert too.
.... and a horrible race for Rapha Condor how often can we say that
Roturn: Vantomme doesn't do low budget Danish hotels!

Well there's not much to cheer about for me as usual, but it was a very interesting race, thanks mb.
Also that performance from Rapha Condor was quite a surprise given their high standards. Anyway congrats CountArach for this important victory.

Congrats Bpost!
I think I can be really satisfied with Langevelds second place.
